tests, tests bloody tests... I am at my wit's end, pls advise!

I am totally baffled. Now on Day 25 and no ovulation. I have been testing religiously. About 5x a day .

So, this afternoon I use the Clearblue ovulation test and I get the smiley face. Yippeeee I think, and then I test with the ones I bought on ebay just to be sure, and it is negative for ovulation. So i thought i would do another Clearblue ovulation test, and that too was negative. In the space of 5 mins I had one positive and one negative Clearblue ovulation test.

Anyone had experience of this? What could it mean?

Did you dip all three tests into the same urine sample, or did you somehow pee twice within the space of five minutes?

Peed twice. Second time in a cup and used this for the two additional tests following the positive.

I'd say get shagging! The second tests are probably just not picking up the surge because it's not concentrated that what you were getting a leftwing? I only get a positive if I _tie my bladder in a knot-- wait for 4 hours before I pee to test on ov sticks.

shiiiiiiittttt.... we didn't dtd because I was down about the two negatives. Also I had real cramping, still got it now. Does this mean I am ovulating now? Sorry, I am clueless about this

Yes today is a really good day to try. Get to it!

Possibly, cramping certainly indicates ov, when the ov sticks pick up a serge you usually release an egg up to I think 48 hrs later and an egg services for 12 hours so jump your dh ASAP, they say the next 48hrs after a smiley are the optimum days

I had managed to convince myself that maybe I was pregnant, and that was why I had got to day 25 and no ovulation (34 cycles, started testing 5x a day on day 17).

Still, if I get a smiley face for a 3 mins, then I am going to take full advantage!

Even if you don't get any more smiley faces, get on and DTD seeing as you got a positive yesterday afternoon.

I agree - the CB says to dtd within 48 hours of the smiley face do put your best undies on and lure him to bed!

Unless of course like my DH he's still in bed! Lazy sod.

No need to dtd tonight as just tested and pregnant! I think I must literally be hours pregnant. I must have ovulated a day before I started testing.

Still not recovered form the shock!
