Seeing as how there was SO much to talk about on the original thread, here's a continuation.

Have copied and pasted the dates from the 2nd half of the list and added a couple more in that I could find with a quick check through. Massive apologies to anybody I've missed off or inadvertently overlooked.

georgie fingers crossed all is ok and your bloods increase thinking of u

icequeen yep due AF on Wednesday - no symptoms at all Sad and have been avoiding testing by running to the loo as soon as I wake up to get rid of FMU! Will keep you updated though...

icequeenkate · 21/05/2012 17:18

Oh Georgie, how dreadful for you. Sad You must be feeling so nervous.

The websites I looked at last time about hCG suggest every 48-72 hours is 'normal' but who's to say what is 'normal'. Another site I saw said that as long as the levels went up 60% in the same time period that was enough for some pregnancies.

I totally understand what you must be going through. What is your local EPU like? Are the staff sympathetic and helpful? I suspect they will do at least 3 or 4 sets of bloods before they can know anything definitive. There are lots of stories of positive outcomes - when I was going through the exact same thing in March a lovely MNer posted her stats which appeared too low, but she was 20 wks at the time, so it obviously worked for her.

Please keep us informed - this is a great place to vent your worries and concerns. I would say have a Wine but you can't so here's a Brew instead. Fingers very tightly crossed for you.

curiousgeorgie · 21/05/2012 21:57

Really?? And everything was fine? I am so so terrified I can't stop googling !! Xx

hellokittydrivesmenuts · 21/05/2012 22:05

yes and i bled heavily all the way through even tried telling me it were twins and i lost one but def not! my sister is midwife and i just stuck on in there and i was told would not keep her and the little madam is 4 now :-)
small thing that may make you chuckle- she is enjoying making everything she says rhyme even if it is with a non existing word but today on way out this am to nursery she said 'open the door-whore' so yes that little bundle of worry when pregnant is now causing me worry at 4 ;-) xx

curiousgeorgie · 21/05/2012 22:09

Haha... That's brilliant!!

Thanks that's really reassuring, I'm still dreading Wednesday though lol!!! Xx

hellokittydrivesmenuts · 21/05/2012 22:12

chocolatehippy · 21/05/2012 22:52

Positive vibes coming your way georgie :)

I'm not going to test tomorrow. Think i may hold out if the red rag of a witch doesn't present herself tomorrow. I haven't had as many cramps this month but to be honest because i've been ALOT more calm this month about the whole TTC i haven't taken any notice...we shall see..will keep you posted! Good luck to everyone else testing this week

StephieFranks · 22/05/2012 13:40

Hello Ladies - i've been lurking was on earlier May BFP thread when AF got me early on!!

Question to all of you out there- yesterday PM used internet cheapie early PG test and there was the faintest of second lines. So picked up a First Response which also showed a really faint second line.......... Decided to test again this morning with FMU using internet cheapie and second First Response and today no second lines...... I'm either 11 or 13 DPO what do you think??

squeakymac · 22/05/2012 14:34

Dammit! BFN this morning, day before AF due. Over to June for me Sad

Dexidoo · 22/05/2012 17:21

Welcome to the newbies, and good luck with your testing.

All fine here although DH is still in shock. I'm only 4 weeks from my last LMP so keeping it to ourselves at the moment which is hard for a chatterbox!

I have tentatively dipped into the pregnancy section but think I will stick around for a while yet

chocolatehippy · 22/05/2012 23:45

Massive congrats Dexidoo! You must be super excited. Can i ask, how long had you been JSing for and did you do anything different this month to get that golden BFP?

I fear the evil witch has already boarded her effing broom stick and is heading down to present herself soon as am having big cramps today.

Surprisingly not feeling at all Angry or sad about it though. Bring on lots of Wine, cigs and chocolate tonight :)

icequeenkate · 23/05/2012 09:28

squeaky and chocolate - hope AF doesn't arrive!! It's not over til she does.

dexidoo - glad you are feeling good. Agree it's impossible to keep quiet about it. Went out for the day with my mum yesterday and had to keep mouth surgically taped all day quiet as we don't want to tell for as long as we can, preferably til 12 weeks.

Not looking at AN section - don't want to tempt fate...

icequeenkate · 23/05/2012 17:54

Georgie - been thinking about you today. How are you?

Steph - I don't know; could have been a false -ive, or maybe just too early to be established? Have you done any more?

OP posts:
curiousgeorgie · 23/05/2012 19:17

Well, it wasn't good news for me... I spent the night in hospital and have a suspected ectopic. the brown blood and the levels increasing but not doubling are concerning them... (plus the agonising pain!)

The best I can hope for right now is that my levels will start to fall and it will be a miscarriage so that I don't have to have surgery.

Hope you are all okay, and lots of luck to those of you testing xxx

RightUpMyRue · 23/05/2012 19:36

Georgie Sad So sorry this is happening to you. Are you still in hospital? What happens next? Have they offered any kind of scan or is still too early?

AF due today for me, she's not arrived but had a BFN this morning so it's only a matter of time. Feeling pretty crappy about it really.

curiousgeorgie · 23/05/2012 19:44

I signed myself out because my DD is so poorly... I have to go back for another scan and more bloods tomorrow x

RightUpMyRue · 23/05/2012 20:01

Will be thinking of you tomorrow, georgie. xxx

hellokittydrivesmenuts · 23/05/2012 20:50

thinking of you loads georgie xx

Dexidoo · 23/05/2012 20:57

So sorry Georgie, I really hope that things settle down & look more positive tomorrow. GWS to your DD

icequeenkate · 23/05/2012 21:14

Oh Georgie - I'm so sorry. How awful for you. Thinking of you and hope your DD feels better soon too.

OP posts:
chocolatehippy · 23/05/2012 22:42

Sorry to hear this georgie. I had an ectopic a few years ago. I had no idea i was even pregnant so there was double shock with hearing i was 6 weeks gone and then being whisked into surgery. I hope they can locate the egg in the scan for you tomorrow and do what is best from there on. If you want to chat more you can always PM me. Having been through it, i totally know the emotions and pain that come with an ectopic. Thinking of you X

icequeen AF is a day late. I haven't tested and have decided not to for a few days to see if she arrives or not. I've only shared this latest update with you guys and my husband this morning. Will keep you posted....

squeakymac · 23/05/2012 23:06

chocolatehippy good luck with the testing! AF on the way for me....

georgie mind yourself good luck with the scan tomorrow
