.. Hi guys, So i'm 2DPO. Had Realllly awful cramping when i ov'd not sure if this is normal. Never been that bad before, lasted about 2 hours then i was fine. Anyway, worst part of ttc.. the dreaded 2ww!!

I reckon ovulation has been missed. i24 hours after LH spike is detected

Honest answer - no idea as don't use opk's. However, from what I've read on mn I think you tend to ovulate about 36 hours after a positive opk so maybe you're in with a chance. You'll no doubt feel better knowing you tried anyway. Goodluck!

hi Kicking quietly optimistic still. No idea why though - don't know when ovulated & DH away with work around about the time ov probably took place, BUT, still have 3/4 days to delude myself, so yeah feeling positive!!! Why not!!!

Are you going to test tom? If you are I would really recommend the superdrug own brand tests (and I'm a Boots girl normally) but they are really sensitive and I trust their result. I'm not going to test, presuming that AF does not arrive, until Thursday.

Men are a nightmare, aren't they!! My DH normally has a much higher sex drive than me and I felt as if I was having to really push it this month.

Discussed it last night and turns out that he doesn't want to see me mc again and thinks that we have been incredibly lucky to have 2 beautiful and healthy DC and doesn't want to chance our luck. A few people we know have had very seriously ill children recently. Puts it all into perspective. We decided to keep ttc for now, just taking one cycle at a time.

according to my plantation calculator , i should have implanted on Thursday (most common). i can't let it go yet. i am feeling cramp in my tummy on the right side and i never cramp the day before AF. i come on and have a two hour gap before pains start. its not the normal cramp.

Kicking No it's not wrong! I'd be the same. I have no idea what mui the Superdrug tests are but I prefer them as the dye is pink and you're less likely to confuse an evaporation line for a BFP. I've had v v early BFP's on these and even when faint, it's clear to see that it is a faint positive and not an evap.

I'm also have a (normally) very regular cycle and so I won't waste a test on Wednesday, but will wait 'til Thursday as would be confident by then that was actually late. FX

Much more sensitive than clearblue! I need to wait until next Friday really but I really hope we get our BFP this month and am so desperate to test earlier but I'm setting myself up for disappointment really if I test before wed. If its a negative il spend the whole time thinking "it could have been to early" n then il be so disappointed if AF arrives. I MUST wait until Friday (so bloody hard!)

dovebird i got positive opk a week ago thursday, and didn't ovulate untill the saturday (morning though) but as they say, anythings possible :) i'd still dtd, worth a shot? :)

I have the best DH. he was napping during our superdrug test chat but i woke him to say we needed to go find a superdrug. he was up and blurry eyed and we legged about. didn't find one but decided i need fresh juice so went on a hunt for a smoothie maker. didn't win there either but feel better :)

i did an plantation calculator and that said i should implant sometimes between Thursday and today if i had a fertilized egg.

so i think i may come on tomorrow but it made today a bit easier to get through. oh plus i think i had obey dark brown spot and a twinge on the right. i am such a hyperchondriac.

I had some very mild cramping on thursday, would have only been 5DPO. I really don't trust these tests though, although their cheap i think id rather spend a little more on FR or CB. I think there evap or imaginary lines :) haha!

Ohh FX for you, its looking good that AF is keeping her distance:o

Morning everything That sounds encouraging! If it's got colour I'd say BFP, if grey probably evaporation. Still very early tho so if pg hopefully a sticky one to show that early!

I've never used the 10mui ones, just the 30mui. I got them after my 1st mc as was told to keep testing until negagtive and wasn't going to waste £'s on proper tests. At 1,100mui the line was not as dark as you'd think it should have been (the hospital were monitoring levels too), same at 600ish. However at 32mui (hospital confirmed the exact level later that day) there was a line but it was very very faint, but it was def pink and not grey.

All this POAS action is making me want to! There is just no point me POAS before AF is due as LP on the shorter side so unlikey tests would pick HCG up that early. Also, I know that with my DC2 I tested early (DC1 a lovely surprise so later to find out) and had a really clear BFP and the two mc's didn't show up until after AF due (obviously not as strong from the start) and so don't want to go through all that worry again.

i didn't do atest but was lying in bed waiting for AF and decided to put pg out of my mind.

No AF yet but also feeling mild pressure so not convinced AF won't make an appearance

i am actually in a surpisingly good mood for AF arrival day so i can handle it.

i think we get so excited that we forget about implantation time. i certainly do.

Kicking, sometime after all the stress of waiting, testing and not knowing I sort of feel a relief that at least now I know and I can start again for next month of you know what I mean!? Although some months I cry all morning others I think I know in my heart of hearts in not pregnant I just cling on to hope!
I still need to wait until Thursday, I don't feel pregnant tho (whatever being pregnant feels like!)

I thought so too! i hate myself for testing so early, just leads to dissapointment in my experience. i do hate these tests though. i went on youtube + a lady who was 10DPO posted a vid of her taking the exact test i did, it was a little darker than mine, but still so very light! she was pregnant :).. so ill just have to wait and see!

Weathers lovely here today (for once), DS has glandular fever :( so being busy with him will take my mind off whatever outcome. trying to stay positive!

Hi all, was hoping to get your thoughts on this - I caved again yesterday and tested again - BFN again unsurprisingly. Today I am 12DPO and got a real urge to test again but didn't have any HPTs left. I went a bit mental and decided to use an OPK instead and it was positive with a really dark line. I've done some reading and from what I can see an OPK should be positive if you're pregnant. But then it could also be a surge in LH prior to AF. So I guess I'll just have to wait and see. Have any of you used OPKs as HPTs before?

Hi queen ive seen of people doing this, i think they usually use fmu. don't no what the difference is, supposedly they are meant to be positive if u r pg!

FX for u :o i caved again today aswel, its pointless im 8dpo. getting evap lines.
Ordered some better tests arriving Thursday. which is good, AF is due around then so lickely to get a more reliable result.

Thanks everything its giving me hope at the moment! I'm going to try my best to wait until AF is actually due on Tuesday before I test again with a HPT. I'll be 14DPO by then. Might do another couple of OPK tests in the meantime though just to satisfy my POAS obsession

I think I started testing from about 8DPO too - the waiting is so hard isn't it!

I am too scared to post. We bought Superdrug tests but i did it in the afternoon after a lot of liquid. either way it was negative.
