Pre conception prep for the control freaks

Hello!

Did you do anything pre conception? I have to wait until our house is sold/ new one purchased as there are some debts to be paid of before we can afford a baby!

I was thinking diet, vitamins? Any recs or good websites? I know many people just start shagging when the time is right but I may as well use my time well!

I did none of this, bar the vitamins and cycle tracking. But it won't hurt, and sets up better habits for both you and your partner when you do get pregnant, and after.

A word re the Period Tracker app: I used this, but turns out I ovulate early, so we missed our window for months - the app won't see that. Worth using a proper ovulation test to make sure you're shagging at the right time
