It's 14 days since smiley OPK, and I am on cd 24 of a 28 day cycle. POAS BFN this morning. Is this likely to be accurate? No symptoms, but tested as its best friend's hen do this evening- needed to know either way! But also curious as to how accurate the result is this early? Is it early? Used a superdrug test. Thankyou for any advice! X

There's a handy website somewhere with the percentage of pregnant women who got a bfp on period day minus 5, minus 4, minus 3 etc with all the different brands. I'll try to dig it out.

Gah, can't find the wretched thing. But you know what you have to do anyway, which is wait four days and then test again.

Unfortunately it is quite likely to be accurate if it is the Superdrug 10miu test - they tend to give a positive result from about 11dpo, but of course every woman is different with regards to hormone levels, so it's not over till the fat lady sings.
If you haven't had a positive result then it's perfectly safe to have a few drinks.
