Two negative Clearblue Digital Conception Indicator tests in the bin. Now what??

You have my sympathies, i am day 39 with no sign of AF. I know I'm not pregnant though as I didn't ovulate but have done 10 million tests anyway of course

have you done anyhting differently this month? Were you ill, stressed, taking medication? All these can disrupt your cycle.

but do another few tests anyway because you never know-

Katelyn · 01/12/2011 13:27

I have been ill and I have had one course of antibiotics for a urine infection. I suffer from Urine Infections alot...and so thats nothing odd, my longest ever cycle has only been 29 days.

I'm convincing myself that I'm not to avoid the disappointment but everything is crossed.

:-( I wish I could know one way or the other. I have started the ball rolling in terms of tests at the hospital, this would have been my first month...so if I am not pregnant, I wish things would get moving so I could start the blood tests...

Are you ttc for the first time? How do You know you didn't ovulate?

It sounds like you might just be a bit late this month? As worrying says, stress, or illness? This month I did some rigorous exercise on what should have been my ovulation day, and it pushed it back 7 days Hmm

xpost :o

wifey6 · 01/12/2011 13:44

I had similar last month...thought my AF was late...but my cycle just turned out to be 36 days...not the average 28.
I would take in to account you have been ill & if no sign in a few more days take another test or five

Aworryingtrend · 01/12/2011 14:46

I'm on my first cycle of Clomid so I had my day 21 blood test which showed I didn't ovulate. We have been TTC for a year.

Fingers crossed its just a 'shy bean' taking a while to make itself known! I read that on here the other day and quite liked it.

Katelyn · 01/12/2011 15:29

aww. Fingers crossed for you.

Yeah...I am hoping a shy bean....still no sign of AF.....who knows...

Keep us informed.

Katelyn

Have you visited the GP as a couple to talk about this?. At 18 months of ttc without success it is likely that either one or equally both of you are contributing to the subfertility.

Has the cause of the recurrent urine infections been properly established?.

Katelyn · 01/12/2011 15:52

Yeah, we've visited the GP and got the ball rolling - I need to have my thyroids tested and a blood count and hubby a semen count so we'll get there - in order to do that I need to get to day 21 of my next cycle. Can't do that until AF shows up or I find out I'm pregnant.

Annoying.

The recurrent urine infections have been looked into, scans, I've been hospitalised, the blue dye thingy - nothing wrong. :-(
