If a test was a bfn Monday....could it be a bfp next Monday?

I am off to the docs today to ask for a blood pregnancy test. As I have very little idea when af is due, and I have had to postpone an op and a smear, I would rather know asap one way or the other. And, I'm not very good at waiting either .Smile
I'm not sure if they'll do one, but I really hope so.
I hope you've got a bfp today or yesterday.
