Any one experience implantation bleeding? What was it like, and how long after did you get a BFP?

I noticed brown discharge/spotting on my panty liner on the day my period was due. Presumed AF was on the way.

One week later, still no AF. Got a BFP in around 10 seconds. Literally, as the week soaked up through the pregnancy test, you could see a really dark line emerging.

I had what I think were implantation bleeds with both of my pgs. Each time, like SheCutOff said, on the day my AF was due I had brown discharge and spotting.

The first time was after years of TTC and I cried because I assumed it was yet another BFN that month and that my AF was on its way. Two days later I peed on a stick because no proper period had arrived and it was a BFP, I cried again!

The same thing happened with my 2nd pg but I was wiser that time and promptly peed on a stick and got my BFP.

Its always nice to hear from other people who have experienced it, i didnt get Implantation Bleeding with my DS.
Im not sure if iv had this or not, i have irregular periods so its hard to pinpoint when i will get periods from 1 month to the next.

My last and first period since stopping pill in march was 3rd July i thought i should have got my next period around 30th July give or miss a few days.
Last saturday the weekend i though AF would show i had a little bleed on my panties i put on a pad but had nothing at all after that, my bleed wasnt brown tho like many say, this was red and only a tiny bit. Then last thursday when i went to the loo when i wiped there was a smear of blood, again it was red, then nothing since. Had cramps all week too. Done a test yesterday afternoon BFN.

I know how u feel shellmc I had a miscarriage nearly a year ago and I haven't had a period still since.. until last week I wiped and spot of blood.. really scared me been feeling rubbish as it is but no blood since that wipe and BFN last week too =/

Had all other weird things goin on and waiting to find out if I have pcos hoping for a BFP before though... although being nearly a year I'm sure that's not likely :( x

My implantation bleeding has always been after BFP.

Ohhh emmiee so sorry to hear about your miscarriage, must be really awful not having a period for nearly a year!!

I cant understand what the spots of blood have been??

I am also waiting to find out if i have PCOS seeing an endocrinologist next month have lots of different symptoms but had no actual cysts on the scan- i had a high lh reading which is something to do with PCOS from what iv heard.

I hope you are okay, like me your bound to be feeling crap and just want our bodies to get back to normal.

I mentioned blood spot to the fertility doctor and she said if I have pcos that's one of the things that happens... but after nearly a year why would it happen all of a sudden it confused me a bit! She never said implantation bleeding tho =/

The latest thing is my skin has gone very itchy I have eczma and that's got really bad, hasn't been this bad for years and my boobs and nipples are also very itchy (nipples peeling) which I have never experienced and my right nipple if u squeeze it has milk like stuff come out... only a few drops a day sorry tmi

I did have blood taken for tests And went to the clinic where they should have sent results but they hadn't got them so the clinic fertility specialist has referred me to an infertility clinic at the hospital and said she will get my results to take there to know what tests I need to have done there

Just a waiting game now :(

Ohh well thats another sign i could be having if they are thinking i have PCOS.

I feel crap at the minute, really bloated my stomach and back hurts keep getting waves of feeling sick then it goes, sore boobs just when i touch them.

I done a preg test yesterday BFN, i really dont know how long i should wait tho to test, dont even know if i have ovulated and thinking now that im on day 39 since last period, im thinking hopfull but really its just another sign of PCOS.

Funny you say about itchy nipples i too experience this and thought it was maybe with different washing powder i was using.

How long have you had PCOS for? Have you always had very irregular periods? Do you know if you ovulate Emmieee ?

It's not a definate if I have pcos yet I'm waiting for a referal letter to go for tests it was just suggested, it does run in my family though.

Well I'm only 20 and until last year I was on the pill (suffered very heavy painful periods as soon as I hit puberty) so I only had a period wen I would have a break from the pill. I stopped taking it to fall pregnant last year and it took around 4 months in which I did have regular bleeds around 32 days apart until the BFP... then the miscarriage Sep 4th and no periods since.. apart from that wipe with blood a few weeks ago.

Have been feeling like rubbish lately! Tired very sicky etc but also a BFN yesterday :( explaining how I feel and symptoms to everyone they say pregnant... the pee sticks just seem to think otherwise!

Aww Emmieee, i feel for you hun.
Im 26 and i had a miscarriage back in may 2009 i was having tests done around the same time and thats when i was diagnosed with Underactive Thyroid, doc told me my body just wouldnt have been able to cope with the pregnancy and thats why i probably miscarried was about 7 weeks :( .
But i was lucky and after starting on thyroxine fell pregnant 3 months later, i have a DS age 2.

Since having DS iv been to pot and having irregular bleeding and just not 'feeling right'. Its only with going back and forwards to gp that they finally listend to me and done tests and scan ect. Thats when they suspected PCOS, but like you waiting to get it confirmed.

Its strange you say about all the symptoms your having which is soo like pregnancy symptoms, everytime i say to my friends and mum they say ohhhh your pregnant...............if only!!

The other thing is if we were to fall pregnant we probably wouldnt know for the missing periods!!!!

I do hope you get your referral through soon, and manage to get sorted, you will have to keep me posted, and i will let you know what they say when i go next month x

Everyone said to me docs take forever and having already waited a year thinking it was normal after a miscarriage to not get periods I decided to go to family planning clinic where they were very nice and helpful (unlike my Drs!)

Very frustrating all the symptoms... some days I totally convince myself now I'm pregnant after all this time.. gradually throught the day picking out more symptoms until I go buy a pee stick to quickly discover my brain playing tricks on me... Yet Again! :(

But after all this at least u have ds =] which gives me hope.. I'm sure I have a long way to go as yet.. and yes we wouldn't know due to no periods.. need some way on claiming on all the useless pregnancy tests paid out for

Morning all - saw this thread and it's exactly what I was wondering too!

I have never spotted before AF is due but today and yesterday I have noticed a few tiny brown spots in my CM when I wipe and today it has a brownish tinge. AF is not due until Sunday so I'm wondering if she's come early, the evil witch!
Been having some cramping yesterday and today which I don't normally get until AF arrives and my boobs are v.sore and feel enormous and firm

Can anyone offer any advice or do I just wait it out???!!!!

I am probably in a similar position to you fish so not sure if this advice really.. I am waiting. As a friend on Mumsnet who miscarried, then fell pregnant and now is a Mom said - you only get more pregnant as the days progress. No point testing early.
