Yoy casually start totting up how much you've spent so far (long before ivf/private appointments). Just the cost of pg tests, opks, tampax from local shops (way more expensive cos you refused to stock up at the supermarket), parking at the hospital...and then stop calculating rapidly cos it's so much already.
