no, you can't - it was a turn of phrase, but Glenville certainly suggests that the coating can be improved to facilitate conception. If there was an easy way to improve egg quality, we'd surely know about it?

ahh i see. Ive done the diet thing and everything i can think of to improve the quality. still miscarry though.

verycherry82 for a long time neither of us wanted anymore but in the last 6mths I changed my mind and he didn't. All his reasons I agree with but still doesn't remove that ache. I left the decision completely up to him as his body and his choice. I have a very healthy and happy 5yr old so I am very very lucky :)

Well, looks like AF has arrived, 22 days after my ERPC. It's a bit earlier than I expected TBH, but means I will be swi in about a weeks time....

Thought I might chart this month, just because I want to check things seem to be happening, having had the mc. Haven't charted for about 10 years, since the local family planning nurse showed me how to do the rhythm method (which I gave up on after about a year!). Apart from that, all I'm doing is taking pregnacare (just carried on with it after I lost the baby), and doing decaf tea/coffee. Will try to eat healthier also, as I am absolutely terrible with food in just about every way.... Did manage to be quite good while pg with DD1 & 2, so hoping ttc (and basic terror of another mc) will be good motivation.

Wish me luck!

Sorry, completely missed the fact there was a second page to this thread now!!!!!

Sorry to hear you think there is a problem with your eggs MrsNesbit - you're very brave and determined to keep trying. Sorry to hear your story shortandsweet - that must have been a very difficult thing to do.

LittleDragon I am also from Yorkshire (near Ilkley), though I defected... Was hoping to convince DH that we need a long weekend in Whitby later this summer!

Just got back from Liverpool and there isnt anything they can do for us. They cant help, cant answer any questions for us and cannot offer any further treatment, so we are on our own.
They did say that because of the 6 miscarriages, we are likely to have more.

Plan is to just carry on life...as usual, but try secretly and quietly for another baby. So we have not yet given up.
I refuse to do any of that charting, ecm crap, ovulation sticks and obsessing.

Just need a bit of good luck to shine our way Smile

mrs nesbit sorry that sucks. Have you looked into royal jelly for egg quality ?Might be worth a talk with the doc ? I do know that you have to be careful about the dosage , start with a smaller dose to see if you have an allergic reaction.

Sorry to hear your news mrsnesbit - best of luck.

I know I'm really lucky about where I live, to me it's the most beautiful place on earth.

I'm trying to take care of myself and gp has given me folic acid to take. I don't tend to drink and have cut down me caffeine intake. Will start SWI every other day. Is there anything else I should be doing?

I only started charting to try and work out my cycle cos although I've always known the science behind TTC but it's never really meant much till now.

Its good to chart to get your head round your cycle, you are not then working in the dark iyswim.

Think you are doing everything right littledragon. All the best, i hope that you get your bfp soon x

Hello ladies, can I join too? We are TTC no. 3 - have DD age 10 and DS age 6. I am 40 (41 in October) so clock ticking! We had very early mc this month and we do not want to hang around waiting so will be on the case again as soon as! Conceived straight away with my other two and again last month, it just didn't stick so fingers crossed this month. Good luck to all trying! :)
