tibby so sorry to hear your news
af was due yesterday for me and so far nothing, i poas this morning and BFN so not really sure whats happening. i had really bad cramps this morning so durgged myself up in anticipation.... guess i'll wait a few more days and see what happens!

1sttimetryer · 09/09/2011 16:31

Hiya, doctor rang earlier, all results normal except for my male hormone levels are too high, should be no higher than 1.7 and its 2.5 she says, no idea what all that means but thats what she tells me!! She says its possible i have pcos but she wants to wait for the other result to come back before she decides the next plan of action, so got to wait til after my holiday now to find out.
Good luck to everyone while im away x

Lugsie · 09/09/2011 18:20

tibby Sad I'm so sorry to hear your news. We're all here if you need someone to talk to about everything. Hope your DH is taking extra good care of you. Sending you big hugs.

1sttime hope you enjoy your holiday and that the doctor has answers for you by the time you're back.

Good luck ellie - keeping my fx for you.

ZuluWorrier · 12/09/2011 14:10

So, so sorry to read your post last week tibby - as Lugsie said, hope your DH has been looking after you extra carefully this weekend. Take care and thinking of you. :(

elliebug · 12/09/2011 21:38

so, still no AF and still BFN so totally confused, all i can think is that cos i've not been off the pill that long i was lulled into a false sense of security by some beautifully regular cycles!! oh well, will keep waiting!

babybrain3 · 14/09/2011 07:21

Hi every one, just starting the 2ww and am already symptom spotting, despite only DTD once during ov.... Just thought I would keep you all updated. What's everyone else up to???

elliebug · 14/09/2011 11:58

so er, POAS and BFP and now im freaking out a little!!!!! im under a consultant cos of pre existing madical probs and not sure if i should ring today or wait? also, the tiniest bit annoyed cos we just booked a week all inclusive holiday and i was looking forward to cocktails by the pool!!! i should have known that booking a holiday would do it!!! oh well back to freaking out :)

goingmadtrying · 14/09/2011 13:35

Congrats ellie what test did you use to get your bfp in the end?? I'm currently on cd32 of what could be a 40 day cycle, tested this morning and got a bfn:( maybe tell your consultant when ur next due to see them x

Lugsie · 14/09/2011 14:16

Congrats ellie - great news! Smile I'm sure waiting a day or two to let the news sink in before letting your consultant know would be fine!

Hi babybrain I'm CD21 and also symptom spotting - not that I've got much to report at the mo! How about you?

goingmad maybe give it a couple more days then test again? fx Smile

elliebug · 14/09/2011 15:47

thanks :)
goingmad i er aquired a test from work which i believe, i also used an out of date tesco on cos i though i might as well wee on it before i threw it away and when that was positive i used a work one which said the same.

think i will ring hosp on tues cos thats my next day off!

foolserrand · 14/09/2011 17:53

Congrats ellie! Thrilled for you and your bfp :)

wouldbemumandotherstuff · 15/09/2011 03:32

congratulations ellie - wonderful news!! Grin

really sorry to hear your news tibby - thinking of you both Sad

CD20 here, so into the 2ww. FX for all those waiting too. would be symptom spotting if there was anything to spot [growl]
seems from the stats that there are quite a few of us with AF due around the same time, so really hoping for lots of BFPs - this has been a lucky thread (and ellie is continuing the good trend!) so FX for you all!!

on holiday this week and next. very relaxing but not quite the SWI-fest I would like as staying with Ps-IL most of the time......

toddle · 15/09/2011 09:32

Congrats Ellie Grin

I've just got the I phone app it's rather good. Plus I can see what I'm typing without having to fight for the computer.

Think I'm just about in the 2ww also so fingers crossed everyone

BatsInTheSnowglobe · 15/09/2011 18:15

Hi, I haven't been on for ages but have lurked often! Just wanted to say I got BFP at the weekend!!! Grin still in shock and not letting myself get excited as I had a mmc in May, so fingers crossed.

Congrats to everyone else who has their BFP.

So sorry Tibby about your news, hope you're ok.

Tw1nkle · 15/09/2011 19:48

Hi everyone,
So sorry I haven't been around - I got a BFP in July, but was so excited I didn't want to tell anyone until 12 weeks.

Twinkle I am so sorry, look after yourself xx

Ellie and Bats Many many congratulations!!!! Grin

Can anyone help me with this problem please?

My cycle has completely confused me now. On CD12 fertility friend decided I had ovulated on CD9, which I thought was strange. Then after having EWCM and a peak reading on CD15 it changed it to CD15. Now I have some spotting on the day FF said AF would come when it said I OV'd on CD9.

I am completely confused now. I'm on CD 23 now.

Any ideas?

Thank you

Lugsie · 16/09/2011 16:03

Welcome back twinkle - so sorry to hear about your recent miscarriage, hope you're ok and that your return to the thread is a short one (in a good way!)

wouldbe - hope you have a lovely holiday!

hi kayzr I'm probably not the best person to advise but my first thought was if you ovulated later that you first thought then maybe the spotting could be an implantation bleed? Hope so! fx for you!

I'm CD23 at the moment and woke up this morning with ridiculously sore boobs, I sometimes get this just before af is due but it should be 9-10days away yet! It could just be that af is going to come early this month but its really hard not to take this as a sign which is a tad silly of me since I'm only about 4-5 DPO! Aaargh!!

Kayzr · 16/09/2011 17:13

Lugsie DP is away with work so no chance of BFP this month. Just wanted to try and make sense of it for next cycle.

babybrain3 · 17/09/2011 07:53

Congratulations Ellie and bats really great news!!!!

Thinking of you twinkle it a horrid thing to go through.

babybrain3 · 18/09/2011 07:50

I have sore boobs too lugsie I think I oved earlier than I was supposed to though, so maybe AF will come sooner (or not) , who knows?!?!?

wouldbemumandotherstuff · 18/09/2011 09:30

congrats bats - great news!! and really encouraging to hear of more BFPs on the thread - let's keep the good news coming, ladies!

sympathy twinkle - how distressing for you both Sad - I do hope you get another BFP soon, and as Lugsie says that you're not with us for long! Smile (Though the graduates thread are all lovely too. lots of familiar people. I go there sometimes to think wistfully if I'll ever get to join them see how they are doing.)

hope the sore boobs are a good sign for you both, Lugsie and babybrain! FX for you!!

having a good holiday, thanks Lugsie - but as you can see, with time for some quality me-time faffing on MN! Grin
CD23 and not feeling at all pg Sad. Still, I guess some people don't get any symptoms and only discover they are pg later, and it's much too early in the month to be down about it yet.
Happy positive baby thoughts to all!

Kayzr · 18/09/2011 10:04

wouldbemum I had no symptoms at all with DS1. Not a thing. I was quite disappointed I didn't have anything as I was expecting morning sickness and everything.

wouldbemumandotherstuff · 18/09/2011 10:22

thanks Kayzr. daft I know to be wishing discomfort on myself! Confused

babybrain3 · 18/09/2011 11:15

I know what you mean wouldbe I think we worry if we don't have all the 'typical' symptoms..myself included!!
