There's only one question on my mind: Am I pregnant? Did it happen this time? But no-one can tell me! Am only 5dpo so def no way of telling. Sitting symptom spotting and troughing down mini eggs thinking, could be pg/likely to be pms. Not even like I expect anyone to be able to give any advice or look into crystal balls...just wanted to say on here, I find it quite annoying. Roll on next week...

I have been to b &q and chosen nice gender neutral wallpaper (and identified gorgeous Winnie the pooh for statement wall in future!). Getting ready to go out for a work leaving do while wishing I could just crawl into bed.
I had crazy dreams last night like stuff falling on me and waking with heart pounding. Am limiting caffeine and not drinking tonight (just in case!)

PatientGriselda · 23/04/2011 18:21

Poor old Bex, you do sound rotten. The B&Q trip sounded good though. My local one has a massive Mothercare next door, which is always good for a longing glance through the window!

Torrential rain outside. I am lying on my bed image googling "positive pregnancy test". Yes, this is completely bonkers.

Bexamundo · 23/04/2011 18:43

I'm honestly not too bad! Obviously sound worse than I feel. I always have health issues and would willingly take all this for a baby!
Don't worry I've been looking at bfp images on FF and thinking 'I don't see it, maybe tests the problem with the ones I've done.' If no bfp or af by Tuesday will buy s digital 'pregnant'/'not pregnant' so there's no doubts.
Dreading checking temp in.am in.case it drops.
Torrents of rain here too and I'm going out!

OP posts:
PatientGriselda · 23/04/2011 19:25

I know the feeling. I have been dreading going to the loo, in case I see blood. I bet I get up tomorrow, head off to the loo to test, and then encounter af in full flow.

Have a great time out tonight.

Byrnsie30 · 23/04/2011 19:55

good luck for tomorrow PatientGriselda x

PatientGriselda · 23/04/2011 20:17

Thanks Byrnsie. Will see what happens. I have deliberately got tests with pink dye this time, so I can see if the invisibly faint shadow I saw last time was evaporation or something more exciting.

Byrnsie30 · 23/04/2011 20:25

Hey Griselda,
I have the expensive digital ones - only to be used when almost certain I'll get a positive, but when the line on the others is iffy! The things we do eh?

Bexamundo · 23/04/2011 22:18

Oh dear I'm.home already. Meal was mediocre then they headed to a very noisy bar and I couldn't face it. Couldn't FACE it! I'm either ill, old or pregnant!
Griselda Praying for the nicer result!

lol the googling "positive pregnancy test" made me laugh as I do pretty much the same thing, over and over.

And hi Byrnsie, welcome Smile Obsessing is much better when you can do it as a group, it then just becomes totally normal behaviour Wink

And I'm 25, OH is 26 -wanting to have all 4 kids by 30 so got a lot of work to do over the next few years :s

btw good luck for the test tomorrow Griselda, what CD you on again?

DizzyKipper · 23/04/2011 22:38

Hmm, now I know if I do a pregnancy test tomorrow it will almost certainly come back negative, which will bum me out. And with AH due on Monday I know really I should just wait, have AH arrive, and say "I knew it!". But why am I still thinking about taking another test tomorrow? Argh, it's all so pointless, need to just wait, why do I try to taunt myself by taking more tests?

Bexamundo · 23/04/2011 23:25

I won't test tomorrow but feel convinced temp will drop.
Need to add toothache to symptoms!

OP posts:
PatientGriselda · 24/04/2011 06:28

BFN, sadly. On CD 45.

Bexamundo · 24/04/2011 06:39

Ah, boo :(. That's rubbish. Wonder why it's so long?
My temp is still above the cover line...

OP posts:
PatientGriselda · 24/04/2011 06:41

Don't know. But I feel more sanguine about this one than I did when I tested a couple of days ago. Oh well.

Hurrah for high temp! What does it need to do now? Rise a bit more, or just not fall? Will keep my fingers crosses fr whichever.

Bexamundo · 24/04/2011 07:03

It can just stay high. Traditionally some women see a triphasic temp rise ie low before ovulation, then peak at ovulation then another rise but as long it remains high it doesn't really matter. I've never had my temp stay high this far on in my cycle (but it's only the 4th cycle Oct charted).
Why can't I sleep?! Have had to get up not to disturb Dh! Enjoying a Ground force rerun on Home for inspiration!

Bexamundo · 24/04/2011 07:06

Also weird dreams - night before last went dreamt I went to a karaoke session but instead of song books you had to look through a baby name book! Then go and see if they had the song you wanted inspired by the baby names!

OP posts:
DizzyKipper · 24/04/2011 07:14

Rubbish news Griselda, such a long cycle must be a nightmare. Sad

Barely got any sleep, almost time to set off for work. Not fun. Hope you have a good days ladies and enjoy the sun. Last day before the AH wait now.

Bexamundo · 24/04/2011 07:21

aww hugs to Dizzy having to work today!! (I used to do shifts so I sympathise massively). Hope it's an ok work day.

OP posts:
PatientGriselda · 24/04/2011 08:22

Hugs from me too. How crap to have to work today, especially with not much sleep. Hope you get a day off soon.

Am also watching tv quietly while DP sleeps. I really wish I could sleep longer but I'm just incapable of it. DP is incredibly capable of it though.

Bexamundo · 24/04/2011 08:31

DH arrived in living room half an hour after me. Having cuppa and watching MOTD. (Have seen first cuppa again...). DH still worried I'm getting carried away cos I keep saying "If I AM pg..."

OP posts:
PatientGriselda · 24/04/2011 10:06

Oh God, I do that constantly - "if I'm pregnant..." "when we have a baby..." !

Now. Is this queasiness the result of a Lindt bunny and two Cadbury's Creme Eggs for breakfast, or a bfp waiting to happen? Just humour me :)

Bexamundo · 24/04/2011 12:54

Obviously our hcg level just aren't quite high enough to show a bfp. The only way to increase those levels is to eat chocolate. I've got a Glee egg, it comes with a free mug that says 'I'm a gleek!'

Interesting update: went to local corner shop with DH (you know, a premier that sells all kind of manor of useless/old fashioned things) and thought about buying some cider but the mere idea of it makes me retch. DH has changed his tune and now said he'd be v surprised if I'm not up-duffed this month!
Jury is still out, got some cramps but feel more ibs than af (I think, could be wrong!).
Anyway the shop had a bottle of Tizer!! How retro. I bought it. Awesome stuff. Way better than cider [buhmm]

Bexamundo · 24/04/2011 16:12

Guess who's been googling? Just to help the obsessing along, to pass the time....

Did you mean to post a link back to this thread, or to something else?

No new symptoms for me, just tender, tender breasts. When are you testing again? Remind me?
