There's only one question on my mind: Am I pregnant? Did it happen this time? But no-one can tell me! Am only 5dpo so def no way of telling. Sitting symptom spotting and troughing down mini eggs thinking, could be pg/likely to be pms. Not even like I expect anyone to be able to give any advice or look into crystal balls...just wanted to say on here, I find it quite annoying. Roll on next week...

Feeling much better and enjoying therapeutic cleaning! Griselda still no af?

OP posts:
PatientGriselda · 22/04/2011 14:00

I am doing therapeutic gardening! No point doing cleaning while DP is doing DIY and unleashing dust and crap in every room. Will wait till Tues and have a splendid blitz.

No AF yet. Boobs are incredibly sore and I'm on CD 43. I am not testing till Sunday though.

Bexamundo · 22/04/2011 14:34

I may tackle garden in a bit but currently having a little rest from all the cleaning/tidying!
Need to go to supermarket to get a test for Monday will have to wait til I take Dh out on the town and go on way back. Have none in house at all!

PatientGriselda · 22/04/2011 14:45

I stocked up yesterday, in fear that shops would be shut on Easter Sunday and I would be all hcg-ed up with nowhere to pee!

PatientGriselda · 22/04/2011 14:46

Oh, and hve a nice rest! DP has gone to church, so I too have downed tools and am now lying in the sun for a while.

Bexamundo · 22/04/2011 15:09

Reckon I'll down tools and head round to Dsis house to play with Dnephew instead. Random aside, bought ice lolly maker and made some this morning, tropical juice, yum!

OP posts:
PatientGriselda · 22/04/2011 15:45

Ooh yum! Sounds delicious.

DizzyKipper · 22/04/2011 16:51

lol Just got back from work and dog walk, miss out on so much chat!

Have read that you should take you temp after at least 4 hours sleep, before you wake up and do anything, I'd figure any temps took with less sleep wouldn't count. And no, doesn't sound like bringing tea back up could be in your head but then the mind is a funny thing.

I've pretty much lost hope on any BFP this cycle, going to get myself a nice juicy cocktail and start enjoying the sun in a sec. Won't be overdoing of course, just in case, but am thinking I'll have to really get down to business next month Wink

PatientGriselda · 22/04/2011 17:04

I'm sure a cocktail would do no harm whatsoever. I have got one hand full of ginger beer, for drinking, and the other full or bosom, for exploratory prodding.

DizzyKipper · 22/04/2011 17:11

hehe that did make me laugh
Would that be a crabbies ginger beer you have?

PatientGriselda · 22/04/2011 17:36

No, Barr's! It has actually made me feel really sick. Eve though I know perfectly well the sickness is from glugging chilled carbonated drink too fast on a hot day, I am still all thrilled at having a potential symptom!

Bexamundo · 22/04/2011 17:38

Ah I've been boob prodding too! Enjoy your drinks. So far I've been on the squash only.
Ha ha Dh has just streaked across hall, living room (at front of house) door wide open! I have been obsessively checking the toilet paper when I wipe today...no news is good news!

OP posts:
Bexamundo · 22/04/2011 17:44

Woo hoo the definitely counts!
dizzy sorry to hear you're not optimistic but at least you can say 'ah well we weren't really trying this month! And have lots of swi next cycle ;)

OP posts:
Bexamundo · 22/04/2011 17:46

Wait it's Easter so [buwink]

OP posts:
PatientGriselda · 22/04/2011 18:04

Oh God don't talk to me about obsessive loo paper checking! And I'm wearing all my white knickers in rotation as well, for ease of inspection. God how grim.

Why have you lost hope, dizzy??

DizzyKipper · 22/04/2011 18:17

lol I still loo paper check, just in case. And yes, any sickness definitely counts hehe

And I guess I've lost hope because I know realistically it's not likely - I've been feeling a bit off for a week now, however I know once you get pregnant hcg levels are meant to start at 5mIU and then double on average every 48 hours - my preg test at 10mIU sensitivity should easily have been able to pick it up after 6 days. Think I've been disappointed too many times before, and maybe I'm having a bit of a grumpy bastard day?

Hopefully life will decide to surprise me - maybe a new tactic to employ? Wink

Bexamundo · 22/04/2011 18:43

Why oh why am I still embarrassed to buy pee sticks?! I'm happily married and trying for a baby!!!!
Dh has lost hope due to the first response claims of %effectiveness and bfn. Talking about next month with much enthusiasm though which is encouraging -he's been off sex since he started getting depressed, around the year of trying mark. But hey af still not lurking (she hopes desperately!)

OP posts:
Bexamundo · 22/04/2011 18:58

Also, more of a musing than a genuine question: if I really did ovulate on cd10, and FF thinks Af is due today, is cd27 still the day af should be due? Or am I 'late' from.today? Not sure about this charting it's doing my head in!

OP posts:
Bexamundo · 22/04/2011 19:09

Ps I'm laughing at every! Why do things seem so funny? I'm like, proper cackling!

OP posts:
DizzyKipper · 22/04/2011 19:20

~imagining Bex cackling in a corner to herself~ Grin

PatientGriselda · 22/04/2011 19:26

~ Backs away quietly, smiling placatingly ~

Come on Dizzy, the nice lady needs some rest now!

PatientGriselda · 22/04/2011 19:27

I though the 14 day thing from ovulation to period was pretty well fixed. So if you did ovulate on cd10, then I would say af could reasonably be expected from cd24.

Bexamundo · 22/04/2011 19:29

Worst thing is Dh is out so I'm on my own! Cackled at the 'boobs in the other hand' comment, text from my friend and My name is Earl.

OP posts:
DizzyKipper · 23/04/2011 01:01

Nah, I don't think anything is fixed really, we're all individuals and affected differently by the hormones, not even our month by month cycles are necessarily standard. Not to say that it couldn't reasonably be expected from cd24, but just don 't expect it - I'd rather rely on experience of my cycles (which I know for me are bang on 28days, therefore the 29th day ergo Monday is a reasonable day to expect AH).

Am now back home and looking forward to a curry after a night out Smile Work tomorrow from 3 Hmm

Bexamundo · 23/04/2011 01:05

Grr Dh has come back from night out straight to bed. Swinging between snoring and not breathing :s worrying. My boobs have doubled in size and um so.uncomfortable I've moved on to sofa bed. He will get an earful tomorrow! Going to.try and sleep now. Glad you had a good night dizzy
