i only use mygirl cos it's my email addy and i'm lazy, plus i can't b bothered to find a version of my name that sum1 else hasn't already got, so lazy reasons again!
don't think i've mentioned any1's username just 'this one girl' (at band camp!) so might do that and c if he clicks on!

jinglediddle, glad the 4head worked.

I have had areally stressful afternoon. Bumped into my mate (male half) with another woman. Heard him tell her who I was and she was off. I am not that scarey honest . I have been known as the godmother for a while now .
Anyhow, he was so cold. Said there was nothing I cld say he knew exactly wot he was doing etc. he nearly made me cry. I was shocked and hurt that he could just throw away a 10 yr relationship for someone he has known for a week. I know this 4 sure as she works in his office and has only just started there. He said wot he wanted wouldn't listen to me and walked off. He has just called me and apologised says he doesn't want our freindship to be ruined over this. I nearly cried again.
I have spoken to her too. She is very angry. Is coming over to stay with me for a couple of days.
There is definatly no going back for either of them.
Sorry needed to talk to someone.......
i am so sad for them

Mincepee - I am so sorry you had such an awful confrontation with the friend But at least it is all out in the open now and you know the situation. And the worry of the female friend not staying in touch has been solved. All this will settle down. once the initial rawness of it all has dies down, everyone involved will start to see more clearly. I really do hope it all work out without too much hurt.

Anyway, how are you this evening? I'm genuinely worried about you. me ol' mate!

I have to ring him back at some stage tonight as I said I would. I was very busy at work and in a car with others so was unable to really speak to him.
It is really sad as they are both really nice people. I have known him for 15 years and am really worried about him. A friend of our was in a similar position as him. He chose to leave his wife and moved in with his lover. Within 3 weeks he had had enough of the guilt and commited suicide. They were best mates. It was awful. I still cry when I think of him. I have told him to keep talking to me as I couldn't face it again.

God Mincepee! I can understand how worrie dyou are then Really, I am sure this will all sort itself out. Unfortunately couples splitting is far too common. I'm not trying to play this down as it is an awful situation and I do understand your feelings and position, but lives do move on and changes happen.

I know. DH left his partner for me. But it was something he had spoken about and thought over for months before. He had also tried to sort things out with her too.
I am sure it will sort itself out. It has to.
I feel like piggy in the middle.

You been working? Anything exciting happening in your neck of the woods? Oh, meant to ask, rather morbidly, where you on duty for July 7th? Just asking coz I watched the programme about it last week and was amazed by our emergency services - so I take my hat off to you!

Yeah, you are right enough. We are all supposed to be staying chilled

I was not on duty that day. I was at home and on standby. After about 6 bloody calls from my office they decided it would cost too much to bring me in. I was on days off. I am trained in searching and body retreval after major incidents such as that. I was glad though as I use the tube route to get into work. I couldn't use the mainline into Paddington for along time after the crash as that is one of my routes into work..

My sister normally gives a list of wot her kids want for christmas...Not the santa list the family gift list. Do you do that?
I have gone against it this just because there was no element of surprise for them last year. One got a pair of roonies from me so the other went balistic looking for his pressie from me as he knew what he had asked for and was gonna get them.
Well this year I have got them what I want to get them. They are really good pressies. Some designer clothes and homer simpson blow up chair, spiderman tv game with joy type stick simpson doorbell (bedroom door) I think it is cool and it will be more of a surprise what do you reckon? Her boys are 9,7 and 5

Sorry Mincepee! Was watching Taming of the Shrew - CORRRRRRRRRRR! rufus Sewell is gorgeous!!

I think its better to be surprised. We only tell rellies what to but boys if they are well and truely stuck. Oh and we always tell DH dad as he always buy the same as someone else other wise - tut! I don't even let my boys look at the Argos catalogue before Cristmas. They get what I deem suitable (cruel mother!!) My boys have never been "I want" kids anyhow, so I don't think they are bothered TBH...

...am I really mean??......

God, I sound like a real witch. don't I?

I'm not....I'm a good mum.....Really.....I love my boys.......

morning SH im here feeling like poo as i have a huge coldsore (at least that what i think it is) i have never had one before and its sooo painful Have got to take my ds1 for his audiology app today, because he is in SALT they need to check its not his ears that are the problem although he seems to hear the words sweets and crisps quite well are you doing anythging exciting today?
