bad news on the house front for me our motgage app was declined cos i am still on my mortgage my income details cant be added to another house and my dps wages alone cant get us anything looks like we will be renting for a while , and to top it all off had a root filling done today and its killing hope everyone else is ok though

Carly - feel so sorry for you, i hate the dentist, esp for root fillings, had a few myself. I am useless at mortgages, they make no sense to me at all. Hope you manage to sort something out.

I have felt quite sick for a couple of days. DH is home and told me to test. I did it and the reading was a bit odd. The - line appeared within a second but once the test line appeared another line appeared. It was sort of a squiggly +. It was a wavy horizontal line. Has this happened to anyone b 4. I didn't do another as I have no more tests. I will do another on tuesday morning. I fit is + i will go straight to hospital. If not we will just keep baby dancing.

peepee - sounds very odd, could ahve been the way they made the test though, maybe they slipped and the line that would react went wonky, but if you got a horizontal line, then it sounds pretty positive. I don't know how you can wait until Tuesday, i'd be down the supermarket now stocking up.

Did another this morning. It was a definate -. There must have been a fault with the test. It was very weird. Not a problem it's a bit of a releif really as the prof said that the point of taking progesterone was to slow down the 'window opening times'. This would hopefully only encourage the stronger eggs to form. Also taking progesterone should make it harder for me to conceive, which is also a good thing.
Does that make sense?

Still, that test was weird, it was a wavy line moving v. slowly across and stopped in the middle. I re checked it about 10 hrs later and it was gone. I have always kept my old test and they have remained + for months so I knew it was wrong.

I am so sorry I haven't been on much the last few days I spent the day in London on Friday, had a busy day yesterday organising a charity poker tournament for last night (raised £500 for Children in Need!!!) and didn't get up til lunch time today due to not getting to bed til 3am this morning after poker night . DH has gone away again.

Even sader, a couple of really close freinds of ours have split. He told her he has fallen in love with someone else. She's left, going to solicitors etc in the morning. It's so hard. We knew him first and she does not wish to talk to anyone linked to him. What should I do? Do I text her or leave it? I was thinking that I would leave it for a week. We are really close. Been on hols together, bestman on both sides (he's ours and DH his)...... F*K, FK, F*K!

Peepee - firstly I'm for you that DH has gone away again. But you have us to keep you company on lonely nights! No comparison I know but we're here! Secondly, I am very sorry about your friends It is so sad to see riends split up. I think you should text her. You may have met her through him, but you became friends with her because of who she is as a person, not who she is married to. She may well be grateful. Leave it a day or 2 then text her. Thats what I would do anyhow. I hope it isn't too painful for all involved

Oh peepee - how sad, thats awful. I would definitly wait a few days, give her chance to calm down and get her head around everything. someone I am friends with had the same thing happen to her. they knew a couple, who split, she found another man. My friend was frineds with the woman, her fiance was friends with the man, and they still are even now 12 months on. The couple who split both have new partners. Once she has had time to think, i'm sure she will be really grateful for your support, which she is definitly going to need at a time like this.

Well, I intend on having a chilled day today, after my frantic weekend. I am off for a mums coffee morning this morning to escape the house! Because I have been so busy with this charity thing and other bits and bobs this weekend, I haven't got any house work done, but I'm too knackered to do any so I will just get out of the house instead!
