For all those due AF yesterday, today, tomorrow or the next day!

I have read on a few threads there are people due around this time - including me! I am now going to attempt to get you all together into the same thread so we can all get excited together!

So basically, today for me will either be day 35 of my cycle (the longest its ever been!) or the day I get my AF (which is what happened last month!)

Who's next :)

Well I am tempted to buy a test tomorrow to use for Saturday a.m if nothing happens tomorrow. I had cramps on Tuesday a.m then this afternoon a headache. I usually get a slight lingering headache the day before AF but this one felt different. I noticed a bit of "womb ache" ?! too so thought that it's definitely going to happen but all's gone quiet again. Can't help going off to the loo more to check, even literally giving myself an internal to see if there's any red stuff around but thankfully not.

Will be tempted to do test tomorrow but if I get a -ve I'll be telling myself I should have used it with 1st wee of the day. Tomorrow will be CD36 so possibly 2 days late.

buggerlugs ovarian drilling is done under a general anesthetic to treat pcos. They basically drill small holes in your ovaries with a laser, they are not completly sure why it works but they think it helps the eggs 'escape' the ovary a lovely side affect is it has also reduced my spots by 70% which they said could happen. Obviously main aim is to get me bloody pregnant it has quite a high success rate so hoping it works. I am a day late, have terribly achey boobs, I'm knacked and feel sick all the time but can't get passed the 14 months of dissapointment I've already lived through that I can't bear to test and no doubt be dissapointed all over again.

buggerlugs that sounds like a good plan always good to have some moral support so if af hasn't arrived will poas on sun morning with you!

How exciting for you two buggerlugs & Florin

Well think AF is arriving for me. Went upstairs armed with a test & lo & behold very pale pink streak in knickers. Felt strange really, didn't feel upset, think i was relieved not to have wasted an expensive test!

It's probably very different for me compared to lots of others on here. I have 3 healthy children & could very easily say, at 42, that's me done. We often have unprotected sex just because I know when in cycle is safe. But a few wks ago I had cried my way through yet another episode of One Born Every Minute & decided I'd love to have just one more. I thought it was too late in my cycle that month but I realised a few days later that, oops, I was wrong, I could be PG. Now that it looks like AF is coming I'm not sure what to do. I would love another but it's weird when you can't imagine another. That probably always happens though.It would be so easy to sit back & say, ok let's enjoy what we have. But I have this little niggle about wanting to do it all one more time. And usually I fall very quickly so part of me thinks well why not go for it for a few mths & just see what happens. I'm just struggling with the way it has completely taken over my mind this past week, waiting.....I don't know how you girls out there cope when it goes on for so long

Sorry to hear that leaky is there any reason not to have one last baby? I always feel a little better if I haven't used a pregnancy test. Like saying to my body ha you didn't fool me!
I keep hoping each month as there isn't much else you can do! I try and keep positive but have good days and bad days.

I'm waiting too! Two days past when AF was due, did a test this morning- BFN. Have had a tummy ache for the past 2 days, different to period pain though, higher up. Legs and back ache too. Just want to know either way. xxx

My tummy is not aching but just has this feeling that af on its way if you know what I mean oh well its not over until it appears. Slight benefit of not being is that I have lost a reasonable amount of weight recently so at least I (and dh!) would get to enjoy that for a bit longer [always trying to look in the bright side!]

Well AF has arrived & actually its been a relief. Like i said earlier in this thread, i have 3 healthy children already & wasn't actually trying to conceive. I know it's time i just accept my kids are growing up & i need to move on from the baby stage. They still obviously need me, especially my DD who is gorgeous at 22mths. I realised this morning that I've looked after babies for the last 24 yrs as I worked as a nanny so that's probably why I'm finding it hard to move on from that stage. I need to accept that my kids & me are growing older but I can still enjoy them so much for many yrs to come. Also it was a relief to see AF because it would have been awful on my children if there had been a problm with abnormalities or something.

Writing this on my phone so forgive mistakes. Just want to wish you all the best of luck & I'll still be checking to see how you're all doing xx

Ok, it's me again. After telling you that AF had arrived i'm completely confused. I woke at 4.30am & went to the toilet. When i wiped before going there was no blood so i thought I may as well test first. It was negative. Then I wiped again & there was a tiny bit of blood & mucus. Went back to bed but knew I wouldn't sleep as I had period pain so I got up again & put in a tampon thinking my AF had arrived. Then I posted on here later.
Since then I changed my tampon (sorry if TMI) and there was only a tiny bit of brownish marking on it, hardly much at all though. I've just changed the next one & there was nothing on it. Any ideas anyone? It's CD 37 & around now AF has usually arrived or about to. I tested with a FR 6 days before period test so surely that would be correct wouldn't it?

Very confused now.

oh leaky its horrid when its all confused. To be honest I am no help as don't know enough about the tests but know strange things do happen. I guess its a wait and see situation and maybe test in a couple of days?

As for me, well I POAS yesterday and got the faintest line. Just tested again and the line is definitely there...so I think I got a BFP, WOOO!
