ch - I know at the tme it really drags as I was sooo worried and nervous i'd M/C again - getting to 12 weeks was a real milestone for me - still not fully relaxed doubt I will do until either the 20 week one/we have the baby healthy in my arms - which is sad in a way as this is my first and it's fully of worry and what ifs trying not to get tooo excited u know. counting down the months with u thou! (hope there's been no more nastiness for u on the home front.)

mads - when do u come back from florida? - fingers crossed u are still PG - have u tested since at all?

peepee- think I did about 15 tests b4 I was convinced fingers crossed for u, realy hoping and preying for u, as I told mads yesteray I got PG again straihgt away so it's v v possible that it is a 'new' PG - did u have any neg tests inbetween? - (thats how I was so certain u see as i'd have the EPU do a test which was a neg and also I did one at home which was a neg) so was certain I had no hormones left.

I still stink of burnt toast though.
A couple of colleagues turned up at 0800. They were not impressed. They had been out last nite on the **ss and were hungover. The noise was driving them mad.
It's all sorted now.
Peace and quiet at last.
I can listen to my Andrea Bocelli CDs now.
Nice and soothing.

Coathanger · 09/10/2005 11:18

Diddle · 09/10/2005 15:57

You've had a rough week maddyd - i'm not surprised you need a sleep.

OP posts:
Coathanger · 09/10/2005 15:59

Good for you Maddy! A sleep does wonders! Hope you are feeling better for it. So, how are the wedding plans going? Have you got much more to sort out?

maddyd · 09/10/2005 16:05

All set and ready to go. Just need to buy a new suitcase to keep the wedding dress in and all the other wedding stuff. Ive booked dolphin swims too and dp is having a shark swim. Thought after the wedding would be good just incase

peepee · 09/10/2005 16:06

Hello,
I am home now.
Pleeeeeeeeassssssssssssse do not get annoyed with me u guys.
I just did another test. STOP thinking it, I am not cuckoooooooooooo.
Anyway, it was positive.
I have now realised that this is an obsession. I will just keep testing until the bloody hospital appointment. I need help. I have to stop, this is costing me a small fortune. I used to be normal, shopping for clothes and shoes etc.. Now I just zoom past those shops and check out the best offers on pregnancy tests. Once i suss which is the cheapest shop, I go back and buy.

Just realised that I am rocking backwards and forwards whilst typing. Dh will try and get me sectioned under the MHA if I don't stop.
Oh, by the way.. He has read this thread and others and says we are all MAD.

peepee · 09/10/2005 16:13

Maddyd, it sounds fantastic.

I got married abroad too. St Pauls Bay, a little chapel in Lindos, Rhodes. It was brilliant. I took loads out with me. My Mum and Dad carried a suitcase full of stuff, favours printed napkins, gift scrolls and fifty pebbles which I had painted every guests name on plus a little sunflower.

I was naughty. I carried heart shaped sparklers (fireworks) in my case. Thats a big no no with customs. WHOOPS. We even carried the cake.

It rained(storm) on my wedding day but we still had the most brilliant day ever.

Enjoy every minute of it. Make sure you post us some photos of the big day.
I am all excited for u.

maddyd · 09/10/2005 16:21

Peepee lol at you rocking back and forth. Great news on the test

Your wedding sounds fab, we are not taking anyone out there but will still be really special. We have a luxury catamaran that takes us for a two hour cruise to a private island to marry us. Thing id dp isnt good on boats. [pukingface]

peepee · 09/10/2005 16:25

Wow, that sounds superb. How brilliant is that. A bit unfair on DP though! Not to worry u have been thru it recently it's now his turn for a bit.

I would have liked it to be just the two of us too. DH has 2 daughters and they got really upset when we mentioned it. There was no way i was gonna have just the two of them with us so I invited others.

maddyd · 09/10/2005 16:31

Im wearing a proper wedding dress which will be a huge surprise for him as he thinks im just wearing a little summer dress

Coathanger · 09/10/2005 16:48

All this talk of weddings, and such romantic ones at that, is making me cry!

Peepee, your wedding sounds as though it was wonderful

And Maddyd, yours will be fab too.

I'm SOOOO jealous! I had a very quiet, reg office wedding. No dress, no big reception, just me and DH, and immediate family. Hope to maybe renew our vows at 5 years (if he lives to see it!!!)
