SO excited. I phoned mum and dad and they were all like "yeh we know" took the fun out of everything. LOL

So he asked them first?

yeh he asked them, they told the rest of my family so everyone I rang said. "O he's done it tonight has he? Congratulations" It took the fun out of hearing everyone else.

I got to tel my mate tho, she didnt know and demanded I went round right now to show her the ring! LOL

She must have been very excited for you! I got engaged when I was 21, on my birthday!

She didnt sound excited but I expect she was, I get the idea they were all playing a trick on me and pretending to be calm but underneath she was really excited

mumswish-what fab exciting news. V. romantic. When DH proposed to me we went out for a meal but we were away on hols at the time and he just said to put my hand in his pocket and there was the ring in the little black box. None of this take your hand in marriage malarky unfortunately and he didn't even ask my dad first. Have you decided on a date yet?

Had the same breakfast problem with DD & DH this morning although I did persuade him to only give her 3oz of milk so that she isn't filling up on milk.

Have dropped DD off at nursery for the first time since last Thursday. She cried again as soon as we pulled up and was hysterical. I will see how she is later when I collect her-it is heartbreaking!

Not doing anyting this morning-will watch City Hospital then count the seconds until I can see the gorgeous Rupert performing as Adam Carter in Spooks. [swoon]

Anyone testing soon. I am CD20/28 so T-4. Scary, have v. tender boobs and a temper from hell but I put that down to my MIL. I wonder if my little lumps only appear when I am stressed as they appeared the first time after DH came off his bike and this time appeared after the MIL incident and trying to negotiate terms of my job. Hmmmmm.

Congrats again mumswish-hope you will be very happy together.

thats lovely news to hear on such a dreary morning. I remember getting engaged, its such an exciting time. I could not stop looking at my ring for ages Really enjoy being engaged before you think too much about weddings.

I am stuck indoors this morning waiting for a new phone, was upposed to be delivered yesterday but parceline messed it up!!! Was so angry with them. The driver actually lied and sid he tried to deliver it and left a calling card when in actual fact he had forogtten to put it on the van in the first place

i am having day from hell today, still confused about whether i may be pg or not, done 2 early tests both bfn but still have wee bit of hope as i am really cranky and feel a bit sick but don't know if it is just nerves!! not due af until mon 17th so ages to wait!!

i have also trapped a nerve in my neck and have dd (11mths) to look after all day....she is having morning nap and i am dreading the rest of the day, any suggestions on keeping her occupied without having to lift or drive!! Feeling so weepy

glad everyone is so up today, it helps that there is such good cheery stuff going on in your lives!!

i will keep watching.......

They're a pain those parcel delivery guys carmelli. I dont like them, prefer to go get stuff myself or order stuff and tell them to put it in the shed.

trix - don't do it. you can wait, better than being dissapointed, your bfp might nto show up yet anyway.

babybloos - i think its far too early for you to test, i know they say it shows upto 4 days before af is due, but with all of my bfps it never showed until after af was due.
You could cover the carpet with toys that you know your dd likes and just sit with her and watch tv and take it easy. leave her to it.

congrats mumswish that is so romantic, i can not remember when dp proposed to me i think we just talked abot it and he got me a cheapo ring. he id replace the cheapo ring with a nicer one a year later though, when we were a bit richer lol

we have trix and babybloos to test soon then. more excitement
It is cd 28 today - i can't beleive it! i had bfn on cd 22 i have never had a cycle longer than 28 so if af does not come today ooooooh im too excited, setting myself for a fall no doubt though!

symptoms - boobs hurt slightly but could be af, and was hungry this morning at 9ish - i get hungry when pg. usually i go until 11am till i have breakfast ya see.

where is everyone gone *sniff sniff

slink - that sounds like pg symptoms to me, I so hope they are.
