chocolate solves every problem! I've got big stacks of it in our flat and whenever anything is bad we eat some choc. Actually I want some now in commiserations for not getting my house!

I'm sure it wont cost you that much it'll prob just be the transmission if it wont go into 1st which you're looking at (depending on the car) between £50-200 at the most. I'd try and find a part at a scrappy first if I were you and then just ask the garage to fit it for you. Alot cheaper then. Is your DP/DH handy with vehicles?

hi all

i have the day off uni whoooo, i have been lazing in the cafe with mums from the school.

i chickened out of testing
i also didn't have time as i slept through alarm this morning.
i think i'd rather wait a few days as i don't want the disapointment. i feel like af is going to come but it hasn't yet this is day 27 and i have never had a cycle longer than 28 so i reckon i will maybe test tommorrow or friday if af still hasn't come.

mumswish- thats awful about not getting your house, i hope you find an even better one soon.

Morning all

Good idea to wait Slinkstah, I just tested again this morning bfn I'm on cd28 and according to my Person machine I should expect af at any time, but my cycle is usually quite long, 32 to 35 days. I don't know if the machine was right in predicting my cycle or if I tested too early? I must admit I felt rough last night and still feel rubbish today. Achy, sicky, headach and moody. I wish af would just start now. It's depressing testing and getting a neg result, I fed up with it!

i know what you mean strike, i'd rather not get a bfn as every time i go loo and see that af is not come i get excited but if i test now and get bfn i will be dissapointed.
although if your cycles are longer then you might have tested too early i had a bfn on day 22 of 26 day cycle

mygirl - Dont know why we didnt get house. We wanted to get dog but when they said we couldnt that was fine too and we told them that so I dont understand what the problem is to be honest.
