Welcome Podmog!! You'll get tons of advice here! So you reckon you came on a week early??? Just a possibilty, but it may even have been an implantation bleed as that would occur at 21 days of a reg cycle and as u have had no period since it could still be that a pgcy test hasn't yet picked it up. Which brand did u use?
It is also entirely poss that your AF is late as it was early the previous month. I know u are reg but it can happen! When did u test? If it was today maybe wait 2 more if no AF and test again - good luck!!xxx

careful podmog- this is a dangerous thread- it hooks you!! Sorry to play devil?s advocate here but something just struck me. If we bding every day surely it doesn?t matter when our temp goes up and down and when we have an LH surge? Or does doing it every day affect the quality of the sperm?

I think it is recommended that people actively trying should bd every other day

Personally I don't have the energy and fortunately have only needed to do it 1 or 2 tims when I feel my ovaries twinging and boobs!! That's done the trick for me so I don't know why I don't just stick to that!!! Instead of worrying about all these technical things that keep me awake at night!!!!!!

Everyone is diff MD, I'm afraid!! A 28 day cycle would surge day 13 ish but even then people can surge day 16 and have a AF on day 28!! Kepp testing - still early!!!

hi quackes, good to hear from u. not doing short days, just left early - well teaching u see so left asap!!!! babs fine i think. still feeling same twinges when standing, and boobs feeling heavy and sore, but all ok. i a bit of a predicament really..advice please - next w.e we have invited both our sets of parents up to tell them news, which will be great. but this w/e - as in tomorrow we are coincidentally going away to visit dh's dad an d stepmum. his aunt/uncle and grandad will be there. which is basically all his dads side of family. wud be ideal time to tell them news as all together, but i'm only 5 weeks and havent had preg confirmed by doc (despite doing 4 positive tests!) what shall we do???? dh says its up to me. also feel a bit bad about tellin dh'd dad b4 his mum and expecially my mum and dad as we are much closer to those. argh, also i shant be drinking and we always get smashed. they are bound to suss

I'm here, have been reading this thread but keeping quiet. Am also off to have a few glasses of wine tonight. Making the most of it while I can. Will stop when get back to NZ and start ttc. Can't wait to get back to DH now, really missing him. He appparantly is also missing me lots so we should be game on when I get home (if you know what I mean). Am amazed at how much everybody knows on this thread. Was going to take ov sticks back to NZ but have been talked out of it by gynaecologist friend (need too many as irregular since m/c - says better to just have lots of sex!!! Am sure Dh will be happy with that). Will start to look for stringy bits though although last 2 times fell pregnant on day 14 both times. First time by "accident" and second at first attempt. Fingers crossed for 22/11.
