stopped pill 30 days ago, so far have had 3 'periods' - is this normal?

Have name changed.
I came off the combined pill 30 days ago, as DH and I have decided to TTC. I got a period within a couple of days, so far, so expected. However, 21 days after that I got another one, and yesterday it started again. Is this normal?

I've come off the pill several times over the years, for various medical reasons, and obviously when I was TTC DC1, but didn't get all the extra periods. However, the pill I was on for years (and didn't have any problems with - minulet) was discontinued, so when I started back on the pill after DC was born, I tried several other types, before settling with marvalon. It has been okay up to now - is this just something weird but normal, or should I get it checked out?

I think everyone's body reacts differently to the Pill so there is no such thing as "normal". In my case I came off the Pill in May and had 2 periods followed by zilch! I've been to the Dr who told me to come back when I hadn't had a period for 6 months - it will be that at the end of this month.

As long as you are not suffering from heavy bleeding I would give it a month or two to settle down before going to see your GP.
