anyone know if being the noriday mini pill can give a false positive on a hpt????

title says it all really.......... am i pregnant as the test says or can the mini pill give a false result (only been back on pill 3.5 weeks........) thanks mumsnet experts.....

The pill shouldnt. The pregnancy test measures HCG, which isnt in any brand of contraceptive pill.

I presume not. Assuming the noriday is progesterone only (I think that's it isn't it?) then it won't interfere with an hpt.

Pregnancy tests pick up human chorionic gonadotropin which is only produced when pregnant or replicated rarely by some fertility drugs and medications. Very rare though.

Am :o :o :o on one hand as its such a blessing but on other hand I'm mortified as have only just got back on track with DH after me having a short affair but ending it to make a go of marriage and if perfectly honest I'm not entirely sure who of the 2 I'm pregnant to........... not sure how far gone I could be
as periods not anywhere like regular........ Need to get to dr's asap don't I?
