TTC, had sex and about 24hours later had sharp pain in stomach went to toilet and when I wiped there was a bit of brownish watery blood-could this be implantation? or the end of my period (I'd finished to days before)?
How soon after sex does implantation happen?
What does it look like?

That would really be too early for implantation I think, more likely it's the remnants of your period that got dislodged during sex--have had that before.

I did have an implantation bleed with my first pregnancy, it was just a streak of pink on the paper and happened about 7-9 days after conception.

Hi amummy and Yank - seeings as this is an implantation thread - can you get implantation without an implantation bleed?

I had implantation bleeding around 4 days after sex. I was actually flying at the time (hols) and was really freaked out by seeing pink drops of blood in the pan and assumed I was having an early mc. I was around the mid to end of cycle at the time.

The bleeding and period style cramps continued for a couple of days - not heavy bleeding but enough for a pantyliner. The blood was a combination of very pink blood and brown.

catmad, yes, you can have implantation without a bleed. In fact, I think not having one is more typical. I didn't have one the second time I got pregnant.

fluffy, I have exactly the same symptoms as you had, period cramps, a bit of blood and AF due on 6th Dec, last had sex 2 days ago, and then 5 days before that...is it possible to be implantation bleed?! I'm sure you probably won't know, as no-one can really know, just couldn't resist a further post!
