She has been on it for about 8 yes and is just over 30.

Her last injection stopped in April.

She is just waiting for her periods to return but is there anything else she can do?

I was in your friend's position until quite recently. Had my last injection in July 2009 (so it 'ran out' in Nov 2009), and my periods came back three months ago - they're now as regular as clockwork and far less gruelling than they were before the injection. I'd been on it for four years before I came off. It's horrible to just sit and wait, I know, but I don't think there's any way of speeding up the rpcoess.

I had the injection for years. Had the last one in Sep 05, got pg in Jul 06 - exactly the 6 months I was told it takes for your cycles to return to normal. So she could be getting fertile again anytime now based OME.

There really is nothing she can do to help things along. I guess she should just look at this time as an opportunity to ensure she's taking her folic acid, eating well and saving up some dosh!

Ok, well I guess I'll have no helpful advice to give her when I see her tomorrow, except for the hope that she shouldn't have to wait to much longer hopefully!

Thanks ladies Smile
