A line is a line, is a line. Congratulations.

However, test again in couple of days (if you can wait that long!) and do a third test a day or so after that to be on the safe side.

fedupttcnosuccess · 16/09/2010 14:12

how long is your cycle?wot cycle day are you on? when did you ovulate?

MummyAbroad · 16/09/2010 14:15

Wobblewatcher · 16/09/2010 16:14

Just done a FR and it was pretty much negative. Line hardly there. Not sure when I ov, last period was 18th aug and about 31 day cycles. Did it pretty much every day though!!

Congrats! In my experience FR tests are not as sensitive as they like to think. Want a super sensitive test?? - get down to super drug.Super drug own brand are not only quite cheap, but really sensitive. I did a FR one, and was so faint I could hardly see it - Superdrug however came up nice and bold. Go girl Go!!

Wobblewatcher · 16/09/2010 16:34

Ooh might do a SD in the morning with FMU then-thanks for that!!! Xx

Sorry to hear that. I guess all you can do is wait a little bit longer and then test again. We'll all keep our fingers crossed for you.

Wobblewatcher · 17/09/2010 08:14

Thankyou!! In quite a bit of pain-early miscarriage?? Not sure...

fedupttcnosuccess · 17/09/2010 09:39

just try and stay positive. sending you lots of sticky vibes. these pains can be early pregnancy pains:just been googling! keep on testing with FMU every morning until the fear of AF has passed. i'm sure you'll get your BFP tomorrow, good luck xxx

Wobblewatcher · 17/09/2010 09:44

Thankyou so much-this is why I love MN Grin

Well I thought the sd one was neg but just before the ten mins was up the faintest line appeared...

Still scared, still can't believe I'm pregnant but on the other hand think I am due on today and no sign of af-too much cm.

I may have ov late and that why tests are so faint? Is this an explanation?

Thanks all xxx

when I did my first superdrug test it did take about 6 minutes for the line to appear, but it was positive

RaisedFromPerdition · 17/09/2010 09:49

How faint the lines are is everything to do with the limitations of the test and nothing to do with the pregnancy. Some people only ever have faint lines regardless of when they test. I know I did.

If you're pregnant you produce hcg. If you produce hcg you get a positive pregnancy test.

At the moment, you are pregnant.

Early testing is such a nightmare isn't it? Because conception is very common in the 2 week wait, but implantation and development of the pregnancy isn't always a given (chemical pregnancies). Give it a few days.

Congratulations. I remember not believing it at all too.

booyhoo · 17/09/2010 09:52

congratulations, i hate that faint line business, why cant they make a cheap test that just says yes or no. note,i said cheap, not the clearblue ripoff!!

Purplebuns · 17/09/2010 09:53

CONGRATULATIONS!
We have a due may thread if you fancy, all of us have found it really supportive :)

comtessa · 17/09/2010 10:56

Congratulations. I remember when I called my GP surgery after testing. They asked me why I wanted GP appt.
Comtessa: I think I'm pregnant
Receptionist: What makes you think that?
Comtessa: I've had three positive pregnancy tests.
Receptionist: Well, then we think you're pregnant too. I'll make a referral to the MW for you.
