Excellent, as a couple ttc i found it wonderful to laugh at !! It's so good to step out the box, and see the other side !!

The book "Inconceivable" is very good too. And also if you've ever seen Ben Elton's stand up from around that time, he uses a lot of the material from that for the book, and therefore the film. It was tragic, funny, and had me sobbing at points... And I actually respected the fact that the end wasn't a typical "and then they had a baby - hurrah" cause of course, life isn't like that.

Would have been, if it were a Hollywood version of course!

I watched it when in middle of TTc for baby 1 and overally I enjoyed it. I wasn't so keen on the whole affair/other partner bits though - seemed a bit too cruel i think.

Was quite autobiographical, wasn't it?

I've never wathced the film but found myself reading the book when I was ttc for 1st pregnancy.

Actually made me start to think if I could go down that route.

Yes, I have seen it twice it is quite funny. I don't like the end as they never have a baby after all the IVF treatments. Also, she has a miscarriage and finds out that her partner was making a film about them trying to conceive a baby without even telling her. They spend most of the time having sex when she is ovulating in funny places and weird times. I think tell also split up in the end.
