sex of third child - disprove DH please

We had a girl then a boy. My DH claims it is unheard of for a couple to have girl, boy, girl and that if we had a third it would be bound to be a boy. (He makes an exception if the children have different fathers.)
So, go on, a flood of stories about your baby girls with an older sister and brother, please.
(Disclaimer: we really want a person and are not bothered what colour vests it will be given)

I'm the third girl in a girl, boy, girl pattern.

Dp's mum had girl, boy, girl, boy, boy, girl...(must have been mental!!).

No DH and I just like to argue the toss. I used to be convinced that if you had a girl first you were more likely to have another girl. Perhaps we have too much time on our hands...

Girl (1982)
Twin Boys (1984)
Girl (1987)

Is it that your DH thinks that people would stop at 2 if they'd already had Girl/Boy?

Certainly amongst my friends where there are 3 children it tends to be

Girl Girl Boy or Boy Boy Girl or all the same sex. I don't think I know any Girl Boy Girl or Boy Girl Boy families

But I'm sure that's because I know lots of 2 children families with one of each who stopped at two rather than any biological reason

As a little aside, the sex of the baby is decided entirely by the father's contribution. So you can tell him whatever turns up is entirely down to him
