Business heroes competition to raise money for children in Haiti

We've agreed to help publicise this comp from Henley Business School because the aim is to raise as much money as possible to help children affected by the Haiti quake. So in their own words:

Could you - or someone you know - pitch your business skills against others from across the country in a bid to see who can raise the most money for the children of Haiti? If so, you sound like just the kind of Business Hero we need. And that the children affected by the earthquake in Haiti need too.

Think of a product or service. Identify a target market. Sell your product or service to raise money for Save the Children's work in Haiti.

The Business Heroes competition is an opportunity to develop and use business skills for a truly worthwhile cause.

If your idea is compelling, you will receive seed funding from one of our sponsors (Reckitt Benckiser, Accenture, Barclays and IBM), and the opportunity to work with a mentor to increase its impact.

Your idea - and your ability to make things happen - will be visible to employers looking out for outstanding talent. The team that raises most will win an internship (summer work experience) at Save the Children.

You need to act fast: Emergency situations require emergency action. This competition closes on 7 March 2010.

If you want seed funding, you need to submit a business plan by 7 February 2010.
