Megalegs, where do you get shoes? I have spent the past week hunting for size 81/2 or 9 shoes but even Evans is rubbish this season.

definitely sizeist I own 1 pair of shoes - which are falling to pieces and I WANT SOME MORE WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH

Boco · 04/10/2007 20:43

My feet are so narrow that at school the only ones that fit were always the orthopaedic nightmare shoes.

It's not fair.

TheMegapodeGuru · 04/10/2007 20:46

LK Bennett are quite narrow.

PLEEEEEEASE can we have an LK Bennett giveaway? I think it's only fair!

SixtyNiner · 05/10/2007 11:17

I've entered and I've gone onto the site and bought a pair of shoes and a bag - can't wait for delivery and look forward to buying more - since pregnancy, 2 years ago, even size 8s (42) shoes won't fit me. Could easily spend £100.

SixtyNiner · 05/10/2007 11:20

Satine - Next go up to Size 9 (43) - not sure anyone does 1/2 sizes these days.

And of course there is Emotion shoes!!

mistypeaks · 05/10/2007 11:31

yes sizeist!! Please can we have a prize for people with tiny narrow feet, who are also really short and petite but with big norks!!! (Its a wonder I can stand up!!)

MegaLegs · 05/10/2007 13:29

Satine - I get shoes from tallgirls.co.uk, long tall sally, evans (but no ggod for boots as they are too wide around leg).

La Redoute now do tallisme with large size shoes.

Also found this site, which has lovely shoes but more pricey.

OliviaMumsnet · 05/10/2007 14:57

LOL at sizeist! I'll see what we can do about shoes for the unbeflippered of you! No promises mind, and it's likely to be in the New Year.

LK Bennett - I bet she's an MNer >

saltire · 05/10/2007 15:10

I have size 8 wide feet and huge calves.
Well maybe not huge, but certainly on the big side.
Why are the called calves anyway? Why not lambs - a much nicer and daintier word

TigerFeet · 05/10/2007 15:24

Mine are fully grown heifers Saltire
