I answered it but I think it was a VERY poorly constructed survey. I just don't think the data they get out of it will be valid.

HumphreysYummyChoccyEggCorner · 05/04/2007 21:54

Twas the very 1st comp I have entered and I was mightily confused as I don't use childcare. Filled all the boxes though.

Trinityrhino · 05/04/2007 21:59

just thought I better remind mumsnet
IT'S MY TURN TO WIN

OliviaMumsnet · 09/04/2007 09:13

Thanks for that Trinity!
Anyone else not done it yet? There's still time!

Have filled it in - but it doesn't mention nursery as an option for childcare - why not? Surely that is more common than nannies (or it certainly is where I live).

OliviaMumsnet · 11/04/2007 20:36

Any more for any more? I'll even put the link in to save you scrolling - here it is!

Just another bump for those who may not have seen this - it takes mere minutes and you could be headed off for weekend of luxury....

misdee · 12/04/2007 21:52

yeah and if i win, who can i give it to

hunkermunker · 12/04/2007 21:54

I've filled it in.

Does this mean I'd get to sleep all night if I won?

[lustful thoughts about crisp white sheets to...sleep between]

LedodgyCheapEasterEggsAreASin · 12/04/2007 21:55

I filled it in well i filled the first 3 questions in told them I was a sahm and none of the others were rellevant it still said i've netered the comp though so I hope that's true!

Beauregard · 12/04/2007 21:57

Entered it but agree it is a poorly constructed survey, not enough options etc.

Malaleche · 13/04/2007 13:35

Started filling it in but gave up as it is badly written - doesn't even allow for having one kid in nursery and one at home...sorry

Just another bump - think of the crisp white sheets.....
it only takes a few minutes

OP posts:
lizziemun · 13/04/2007 15:06

Filled it in but as i'm a sahm doesn't really apply.

hunkermunker · 13/04/2007 15:26

I'm thinking of 'em, Olivia, I'm thinking of 'em [dreams]

saltire · 13/04/2007 15:30

I filled it in, although it didn't have a choice such as "I am a parent who works at home therefore doesn't need childcare"

OrvilleRedenbacher · 13/04/2007 15:31

whyis there no
" my kdis are at school or i snd em to a nureersy"

flutterbee · 13/04/2007 15:32

When does this one close? It seems like I filled it in ages ago

Taylormama · 13/04/2007 15:33

i filled it in - one of the worst surverys i have ever seen but god dammit i need a weekend away!

suzywong · 13/04/2007 15:34

Is there any earthly point in me entering it

I mean is there yet a comp that is not Northernhemispherecentric ?

zippitippitoes · 13/04/2007 15:38

I filled it in...

zippitippitoes · 13/04/2007 15:40

the only annoying thing if i win is that i might have to put up with kids

Gingerbear · 13/04/2007 22:21

Agree with others - crap, nanny-centric survey, but I would like a hotel break please.

lemonaid · 13/04/2007 22:28

I keep trying to fill this in but it is so annoying that I've never been able to get to the end without my brains melting and dribbling out of my ears in protest. I will have another go and answer the question on cost based on how much I pay per minute. That seems reasonable. But I may have to take out a few minutes to swear loudly again at the "Why do you have childcare?" question.

Seriously, was this thing drawn up by someone who was PAID to do it?
