I am reduced to asking dh for parenting tips - best he can come up with is "don't let your kids watch Celebrity Big Brother". Shall I enter it?

The only really good tip I've ever read on the home page was soupy's "don't let your children play with 6 foot long sticks - it will end in tears"

Does it have to be a sensible tip, then? Will I get disqualified if I enter loads of tips like "don't wipe your bum with sandpaper" and "don't let your children eat worms"?

Actually (answers own question) it doesn't have to be sensible. I remember a tip on the home page about putting cat litter in your child's bed to soak up any accidents in the night...

Hmm...! Not sure Hula. We have Gameboys plus my DS Lite in this house so far ... we've avoided Playstations and X-boxes etc. so far.

Personally I find the Wii more attractive than the others I've seen so far, and it was a definite possibility in my mind. The boys have got quite a lot of pocket money/Christmas money saved up ... so I may persuade them to buy it
