I once won an enormous hamper of ChocExpress Choccies! Had to give loads away (much to kids disgust) and still had tons.

Am still waiting for my Readers Digest cheque though......

What have you won?

A few years ago I won a trip to Manchester, night in a 5 star hotel, meals paid for, tickes to watch Newcastle and Man U playing at Old Trafford and we were chaueffeur driven there too.

Not huge football fans (and actually support Middlesborough ) but it coincided with DH's birthday - and it was FABULOUS to go to Old Trafford (great match too - 5-3 to Manchester).

That was the runners up prize - it was a 'game' that I played online - and I was just 2 points away from winning the main prize........which was all of the above, except 2 nights in the hotel, VIP tickets to the match and £1000 cash!

Mo2 · 06/01/2006 17:26

A weekend fr two at Grayshott Hall Health Spa.... BUT I had to give it to a friend as I had moved to Canada for 2 years and wasn't able to take it

What's worse though was that she went with another friend of ours and they sent me a card saying what a nice time they's had - but didn't really thank me 'properly' - thought they might send a small token of appreciation or something

It was worth about £600 ....

WigWamBam · 06/01/2006 18:18

It was a write-a-holiday story competition ... mine was a slightly sci-fi one about a couple who went to a back-street travel agents for a bit of intergalactic travelling, ended up on a completely gorgeous but totally empty planet called Gaia, which fighting had killed off all the inhabitants of and which (totally predictably) turned out to be Earth. It was better than it sounds

FrannyandZooey · 06/01/2006 18:38

Blimey, WWB. [stunned emoticon]
