I had my first and severe Asthma attack yesterday that almost took my life. It started with a simple cough do to allergies that worsened with time. I tried treating the cough but it kept coming more and more until it was diagnosed as acute asthma. I spent the entire day not feeling fine only fighting for breath yet a long a lot of errands to run. Unfortunately no couldn't compete them. By the time I got home I could barely walk . Just a few steps made me feel like am from running a thousand miles. Talking was so word. To an extent of grasping breath to attar a single word. I panic and tried calling my friends and family which worsened things. Thanks to my dear friend who advised me to go the hospital before it gets late. But by the time I got there I couldn't even stand straight. They gave some medicine through IV. Some antibiotics too. And just one push of the drug gave me some serious reaction that left me completely breathless and fighting for my life. But thanks to the Almighty who answered my prayer I stabilized after. But this got me so scared and not the same again. I t was first life threatening experience .
I just wanted to share this. Maybe someone out there is experiencing the same or more.
