In theory what would you swap for 3 bed house in grimy part of London

We're not ready to swap yet - have just bought place and needs doing up, but wondered in theory so we can start planning our holidays, in our mind at least.

We have a 3 bed house in a not great part of London - it is zone 3 and ten mins walk from station so easy to get into central London, but is I suppose considered to be a rough part of town (though we love it and we love the ethnic diversity too).

There is one double bed and one double sofa bad, all mod cons in kitchen, tv and dvd etc.

Is this the kind of thing people swap and in theory what kind of places do you live in that we'd be able to borrow in return forlending you our place?

Thanks
x

we would be very interested in a London swap. we used to live in SE15, so would have low expectations of the area .

we have a 3 bed house in the suburbs of Manchester. Lots of museums and stuff in town. Short drives to Peak district (less than an hour), Lake district (1 hr 15), Yorkshire, Blackpool, North Wales, Chester etc.

Whereabouts in London is it? We have family in SE9 so would be interested if it is near there.

Hi - we'd swap! We have a 3 bedroomed house in South Manchester and would love to swap for a long weekend/few days in the summer? We moved up from London a few years ago and are pining to go back for a few days and take the boys with us.

We've got a double bed in one bedroom and cabin bed + child's bed in the other bedroom (third room = junk box room!).

It's easy to get into Manchester City Centre and we've got a very big garden so lots of room outside for children to play in.

e-mail me at: lakinson dot house at ntlworld dot com if you're interested!

Hi greensuedeshoes, we'd be interested, area doesn't really bother us, it'd just be good to get to London for a break. we have a 3 bdrm house in Cardiff,Wales. fair sized garden, good public transport links. We have 2 boys aged 4 and 7 so lots of toys available. Let us know what you think.
