Advice regarding housing association swap

Hey sorry if I haven’t posted in the correct place, I am aware there are other threads on the subject but I could only seem to find ones from a while ago and i’m looking for some help please.

i’m currently about to exchange my HA property with a lady, I have filled my forms in the housing officer is going to take her forms to her home on Wednesday. (Same HA) how long after our forms should we expect surveyors/gas/electric checks to be done? There are no arrears, and I have filled any small holes/cracks with filler as advised.

I’m very anxious about the situation and desperate to move as the home I live in now was my mums and its very hard to be here since she passed away

What are you worried about? It will be fine. If the other tenant has misrepresented her house in any way I presume that the H.A will be there to back you. If you don't like it, you can try to swap again.

I’m just a worrier in general and slightly impatient 😂🙈 i’ve been to view her home and it looks great and mines fine i’m just hoping it goes smoothly

@Rainbow978 I get that, it's a big decision. It was the best thing my friend ever did, even though the woman was shady and tried to pull out oh the swap unless my friend gave her 2K. But this was being done unofficially
