Mollie, i am hoping my dd will believe for a few more, she is 7. I think i'll just do my utmost to blag it for as long as i can. Sh;e my one and only, and i don't feel like I've milked this yet iyswim!!!

JingleAllTheWay · 24/12/2009 23:45

MollieO - it is not that they believe, but that they want to - it's called suspended disbelief I think.. They know it cannot be real logically but they still want to believe in the magic. Tomorrow our DC aged 12 and 10 will excitedly show us stuff from their stockings like we had not ever seen it before!

PirateCatintheXmasHat · 24/12/2009 23:49

Jingle,

ooh i am glad they still dibelivingly believe, i think it's so much fun. I got a stocking up till i was 20 !!!

TLESinChristmasStockings · 24/12/2009 23:51

Jingle, DS1 is 11 and is still the same I keep it going as well....once the urchin (ds2) has finally gone back to sleep then I will get the stencil and icing sugar out like last year lol

magnolia74 · 24/12/2009 23:56

Dt's age 10 are still awake!!! I'm shattered and dh is being a grump, hoping he will wake in a better mood

FiveGoMadInDorset · 25/12/2009 00:01

This is the first year my nephew hasn't believed. He will be 12 in Jue and is not bad considering his brothers are nearly 18 and 14.

PirateCatintheXmasHat · 25/12/2009 00:03

mission accomplished

thank fuck

TLESinChristmasStockings · 25/12/2009 00:10

ARGHHHHH DS2 is now riding around on his bike i am so glad the neighbours can;t hear from in their flat lol.

I blame DP who thought it would be nice to give him rolo ice cream while i jumped in the shower

Clary · 25/12/2009 00:13

right need to go and do mine now.

Only came back from Chr Eve rellies expedition at about 10.45...in bed by 11.30 (gasp! had slept in car) so dare I yet?

Lol @stockings with bells on! I have to fill a stocking for DD's teddy bear (she provided the gifts so I just sent them to Santa )

cece · 25/12/2009 00:18

My eldest is 8. I am not sure whether she still believes or not. If she doesn't she is playing along well. I told her if you don't believe you don't get presents Think she is too scared to risk it

bunny3 · 25/12/2009 00:20

Dds asleep, ds still awake. I'm starting to flag. Dh busily wrapping my presents up on kitchen table so I am not allowed downstairs to get a sherry cup of tea

TigerDrivesAgain · 25/12/2009 00:23

oh dear I am so pissed excited that I nearly mislaid the presents. At least DS conked out once he went to bed.

mummyofexcitedprincesses · 25/12/2009 00:32

I thought I was the only one still wrapping presents but am reassured that I am not alone.
