Christmas tree lights, quick question

They've stopped working - I'm assuming a bulb (or 2 has gone). If I take out the blown bulb will they start working again or do I have to replace the broken bulb?

you need to replace the blown bulb.

Other sets they only all go out if it is the white tip fuse bulb.

bah humbug off to dig out the spare bulbs from the loft eaves

Half the set are fixed lights (now not working) other half flash which are still working so I guess it's not the fuse.

bulbs retrieved, cats now embedded into loft eaves.....
