How many rooms in your home have you decorated?

And which one is the most Christmassy?

I've realised that I've put the most effort into the kitchen - that's where we will be eating Christmas dinner. It looks really cosy now. I have cream shaker units and wooden worktops and have used lots of red candle and tealight holders which look great against the cream.

The Christmas tree is in the family room and is possibly a teeny bit big for the room - especially now there are presents under it! I have decorated the fireplace but nothing else in there. No room really!

I have put a few (tasteful!) bits up in the other living room - mainly because it is open plan with the hallway so visible to anyone coming in. And put some things up the stairs. And that's it. Haven't done anything upstairs.

lounge - tree, candle arch, wicker snowman, cards stuck on the fireplace and round the doorway and my mum made me a nice chistmassy flower display.

hall - nativity scene on bookcase, bit of tinsel wound round the staircase.

kitchen/conservatory - paper snowflakes and candles that the kids made stuck on windows / small (3ft) cardboard tree that we hang advent calendar decorations on.

Lounge - curtain lights on patio doors, lights around mantel/ fire. Plus some lovely christmas ornaments

Hallway - banister lights and wreath plus lovely snowman welcome sign with lights wrapped around it.

Dining Room - huge christmas tree with lots of lovely lights and decs. Xmas wreath etc.

Kitchen has a little santa - but is the poor relation in our house.

I plan to do much more next year including the outside, but couldnt justify buying all the decs the first year we were in this house. DH visibly pales when I describe my vision for the outside.
