I decided to leave Christmas shopping to when I have DH with me, which is tonight and tomorrow. This was a huge error in judgement on my part.

It is snowing heavily, I'm meant to be meeting a friend, I have to get into town. With a pram.

Please can we postpone Christmas 'til after the snow?

It's a pain, isn't it? We long for a white christmas but when it happens its a bloody 'mare for many!

Can you not leave LO with DH and go by yourself? I know it won't be the same but it will probably be less stressful.

Not really, I'm meeting him after work and the shop will be closed if I have to wait for him to get in. Also, he can't be trusted to shop on his own.

I'm going to grit my teeth and set off soon.

My teeth being the only thing gritted around here, I think I'll get the train.
