What toy for a 1yo girl?

Need to get something for a friend's DD who is just 1... she doesn't have many 'girly' toys as most are hand-me-downs from her big brother so any ideas of something that might be nice?

I seem to remember a MNer recommending a toy handbag that their DD had loved, but that was ages ago...

We bought this for my DD for her first birthday and its hardly been out down since! Shes 16mths now and its still a fav ...

ragdoll.. Instore they have various different dolls with different outfits, hair colours etc.

DD (15mo) favourite toy Hwever, she gets very annoyed if you try to put a teddy or doll in it. She would much rather push around a bit of lego or, this morning, a piece of toast
