What are you doing today that's Christmas related?

I'm just being nosey and want to chat about Christmas. odd I know that just me
Today so far I have posted cards to close friends.

Oh I have written out DS2s christmas cards for nursery too

I also need to order a turkey! Glad it's not just me

I have posted most of my cards but the last batch are going off today. I have got Xmas photos of my DS printed off to go in them. I'm also giving out my work cards today.

We need to put our tree and decs up too. Got the boxes down last week but every evening after DS is in bed I've been too tired. Plus I need to find a site for the tree he can't get to.

I shall spend much of the day doing the following Christmas related things:

Ignoring the present wrapping

Worrying about writing out cards and will I get them in the post in time, whilst not actually getting my backside into gear and writing and posting said cards

Later on tasting the wine we had bought for Christmas (which will mean I'll need to buy some more)

Going to weightwatchers in a desperate bid to lose 4lb before Christmas day so I can eat, drink and be happy without feeling guilty too.

MyCat do the cards instead of being on this machine NOW! Set the timer for 15 mins and see how many you get done.

Hopefully buying an outfit to wear for meal out next weekend, and probably Christmas Day

Well, I am thinking of all the things I have left to do

I would love to put up the tree by myself but won't be fair on Ds I'm off Monday I can sort of re done it then.
Going to buy tree tomorrow

Writing the rest of the christmas cards, then this evening, I'm singing in my choir's christmas concert, and going to a party afterwards.

I also need to make some unchristmassy macaroni cheese, otherwise there'll be nothing for supper tonight, and three nights on the trot of scratch suppers/takeaways would be a new low in housewifery, even for me.

decorating xmas cake. But I am hungover after Dh's birthday last night.

Going shopping with DS after school for presents that he's giving. Will also visit the French Christmas market in town.

Buying a few more decorations for the house.

Steeping the fruit for my (very last-minute) Christmas cake.

Planning the weekend - doing the tree, cake, and loads more this weekend as this is my 'Christmas starts now' weekend.

Collapsing on the sofa with my big pregnant belly and watching 'Victorian Farm Christmas' on BBC2 at 9pm

Planning on wrapping MIL/FIL pressies to drop off this weekend and if I get time the teachers/TA's/club staff's.

Have done most of my cards already but have a few left to finish today.

We have made paper chains and put them up in the front room.

LO's have been poorly this week and we have barely left the house so we have done loads this week including, making christmas cards, making snowflakes, baking christmas cookies and making decorations out of pinecones and a ton of glitter glue.
