What's the most you would spend one on individual stocking filler?

£5

most of the stocking fillers are around the £2/£3 mark

That's good cos I was thinking about £5. Does anyone spend between £5-£10 or is that too much?

We usually spend maximum of a fiver on an individual stocking filler. However, this year I will put CDs in the DCs stockings and they were approx £8 each.

Individual items tend to be less than £5.

The most popular ones always seem to be something that was £1 or less IME eg. something silly like fart putty

Most of them are £2 to £5. I might go up to about £8 for something that was just perfect and likely to get loads of use/make someone very, very happy.

I reckon the stockings cost about £40 each, which is scary when you stop and think about it. But I build up a collection over months and don't spend a fortune on "main" presents.

Most are less than £2 - I'd only spend more if the item was a) perfect or b) could be divided into more than one parcel e.g. a three-pack of cars or similar.

I put more expensive things in my mums stocking (mum does my dad and us 3 girls, I do hers) so she feels spoilt. Ive spent £150ish, some items are around £5, but others are more £15-25. She does the same in ours.
