Present for 2.3yo boy

Am stuck for a present for my 2.3yo nephew. My mum suggested fuzzy felt and he adores Peppa Pig but the set I've seen says suitable for 3y+. Will he be able to use it properly? Will he choke on the pieces?

Should I think of something else?

I think Fuzzy Felt will be fine for that age, DS1 is 2.9 and most of his toys have been in the 3+ range since he was about 18mo!

Alternatively there are some nice Peppa Pig jigsaws around.

I did see the jigsaws as well. I'll probably end up buying both because I'm a big old softie.

However much my 2yo DS loves tossing fuzzy felt around, I can't stand clearing it up, so my advice would be go for the Peppa Pig Aquadraw mini mats and/or puzzles.
