i mean about 160 and they have to be plain white and do the twinkly things when you push the buttons on that magic little box thingy. i think they are called chasing lights or multifunctional lights or summat like that anyway.

DH has said i cant get any of ebay cos he doesnt trust them!

and thats the only place ive found any that meet my exacting requirements.

any ideas?

Big garden centres focus on stuff like this at christmas....or ask Electrical Trades Suppliers -- look on line and/or yellow pages.
OR Try Screwfix online or shops
(If you want them for outside they MUST state for external use)

Wilkinsons had them today when I went in. Although I'm not sure how much , I bought plain white static lights £4.96 for 100. HTH

purpleduckUnderTheMistletoe · 09/12/2009 22:18

I just bought some exactly like that the other day...at The Range

My tree is all a-twinkle now

ShinyAndNew · 09/12/2009 22:26

I currently have some wrapped around my bannister. They were bought when I got my huuge gorgeous tree two years ago. But my house is no longer big enough to accomadate my lovely tree so I had to give it to my gran

That means that Tesco or Argos must have had them at some point.

Sushiqueen · 10/12/2009 12:46

I got some from Robert Dyas last week.

There are 200 lights in the box, can choose various settings including chasing and they are plain white.

Now I just need to put the tree up !

VirginPeachyMotherOfSpod · 10/12/2009 16:04

See I'dlove chasing ligths everywhere, only have them on the tree.

AIBU to sulk, gioven that DH is studying lighting design and retails light chasers and paraphernalia to DJ's and similar?

Suerly I should be able to shock the elders of the village with my lighting display>? But no, I get a pop up B&Q tree.

harumph.

(PS Wilkinsons, homebase, maplins- anywhere like that)

mistletoekisses · 10/12/2009 16:44
