So far, I have thought of - diamond necklace (already purchased by moi ), perfume (will order a gift set over internet, I only wear one fragrance so easy) and theatre tickets/money towards theatre tickets.

Yes. See, what I really want is a weekend in a Hotel du Vin with free massage and facials and wine on tap with no children. Or a new kitchen. Or, god yes, a diamond would go down quite well.

I am in the same situation. DH has asked me until he is blue in the face what I would like for Christmas. Problem is that with one DS already and bub due early Jan - have done so much shopping, have no retail therapy requiremnt for myself left.

I want an iPhone. But apparently I may not get one as (1) we can't afford it (minor reason!!!) and (2) it is difficult to sort here in Budapest.

If I can't have the iPhone then I am happy with just some bits and pieces to open on the day - smellies etc.

Oh - a Jo Malone candle would be nice too!

last year I was sad and I asked for a steam generator iron and a blender. DH was unimpressed, but bought me them anyway.
