It's occured to me, while drafting my third email to Lilimay.com chasing the remainder of my order (the previous 2 having been ignored!), that we should have a thread to praise those companies we've received great service from in the run up to Christmas.

I've got some lovely wellies for ds1 from EmilyHannahLtd. They arrived next day and delivery is free leading up to Christmas.

Also received lots of craft stuff for making cards with the kids from Crafty Capers. Good range and reasonable delivery charges. Arrived within a couple of days of ordering.

Body Shop have been really efficient too. Free delivery over £15, freebies if you spend over £25 and lots of other offers online.

And Amazon, as ever. Anyone else?

Amazon and The Book People are always brilliant. I like John Lewis too.

I had a v bad experience with M&S a couple of years ago but from what lots of you are saying, they sound as if they've really improved their online service: might give them another try.

John Lewis and Amazon

M&S are still disappointedly slow and I filled in their survey and everything!

Debenhams have exceeded my expectations by sending me the items I actually ordered.

Last year I was desperate for a certain top and kept orderign it and they kept sending me a totally different top. They admitted in the end their website was wrong but couldn't match the photo up to a correct item number so told me they couldn't help!

I agree with Amazon - great service. Also, if you need to send a heavy parcel abroad I recommend parcels2go.com. I sent a 10kg box of stuff from UK to France for £21 on Monday and it arrived by Parcelforce on Thursday. Going directly through Parcelforce would have cost me twice the price. Very impressed.
