I was just about to post the very same thing!
Just got 2 on order.

AitchTwoToTangOh · 01/12/2009 21:14

whqt are they?!

was considering getting dd some kind of daft robot pet, are these good?

Lizzylou · 01/12/2009 21:16

They are just battery operated Hamsters that interact, you can get houses/cars etc for them.
Less mess than the real thing and very cute.
I always wanted a hamster, so these are more for me than for my boys

nigglewiggle · 01/12/2009 21:17

Thank you, I have ordered.

AitchTwoToTangOh · 01/12/2009 21:17

how do they interact, though? would i need to buy loads of other gubbins or would it be okay to get just one? or is the point to get two so that they communiccate with each other?

Lizzylou · 01/12/2009 21:18

I have no clue, Aitch.
I just fell for the hype and the fluffy cuteness......
1 hamster with some accessories would be OK, I should think.

Lizzylou · 01/12/2009 21:20

Info on fluffy hamsters

drlovesmincepies · 01/12/2009 21:22

yay ! i got 2 dd4 will be over the moon!

BexieID · 01/12/2009 21:25

I know Tortoise was after them. Anyone know if she got them?

drlovesmincepies · 01/12/2009 21:31

anybody got the hamster ball? .is it any different to a real hamster ball?

Lilyloo · 01/12/2009 21:51

Yeah Tortoise got hers.
Be prepared dd asked for one of these , which i struggled to find , then she asked for accessories to go with it and the nightmare started.
I have spent many hours trying to hunt down the damn things.
They are impossible to get, unless you pay ebay extortionate prices.
Real balls won't work as they have a stabiliser in them.
I am not sure if they interact with each other but one will be fine.

BexieID · 01/12/2009 22:05

Oh good, can stop stalking her then, lol.

Linnet · 01/12/2009 22:31

Just spotted this thread and managed to order a hamster for my dd2, thank you.

dearfuckingprudence · 01/12/2009 22:56

Out of stock now

They appear to be in stock but when order goes through they say 'no longer in stock so have removed from your basket'

dizzycringles · 01/12/2009 22:57

not anymore and I had them all ordered but put my credit card details in wrong, sigh, arse, pants

dearprudence · 01/12/2009 23:02

Actually I just tried again and the order has gone through, confirmation email received. Although previous two times it said 'we have removed them'.

Worth another try dizzy.
