What Bizarre Things do your DC want Father Christmas to bring?

DD1 who is three and a half wants two packets of crisps and a Christmas cracker from Santy (as he's known in Ireland).

She'd also like

  1. a hula kind of slide that looks like this [squiggle) and
  2. a dula kind of thing that drops pencils all over the place. [another squiggle].

That's her entire list.
What are the bizarre things your children expect Father Christmas to summon up?

"A small plastic God" DD1 (3)

Announced a little while after the end of our first theological conversation about what churches were for.

TBMOM · 30/11/2009 13:48

Ds too young at the moment but I can volunteer one. When I was litle I wanted a dolly that was yellow, that had a yellow dress, shoes, hair clip, hair, socks, knickers and lived in a yellow house. I remember asking for it every Christmas and being bitterly dissapointed with Father Christams each year (unsuprisingly)

FagAshLil · 30/11/2009 13:49

Ds (3) wants a real hose and a real nee-naw (fire engine)
He is getting a toy fire station so hopefully won't be to disappointed!

Chickenshavenolips · 30/11/2009 13:50

DS2 wants 'something alive'

pooter · 30/11/2009 13:53

DS, 2.9 wants a tiny car and a kinder egg. Not strange but what a nicely short list! He is going to be very happy on Christmas morning . Long may his desires be this easily fulfilled!

pollywobblebauble · 30/11/2009 14:01

when dd was 3, she wanted a crumpet...with butter and a ship (sip) of ginger beer...

roxanne08 · 30/11/2009 14:02

dairymoo · 30/11/2009 14:09

One of my DTs (2.3) wants cheese and the other wants apple juice. Shopping done!

LtEveDallas · 30/11/2009 14:10

DD, 4 wants a 'Real baby that poos'

(Think she means that horrid Baby Alive)

BloodRedTulips · 30/11/2009 14:13

when i was little i asked santa for an older brother

sadly my kids are far too materialistic to make it onto this thread

claraquack · 30/11/2009 14:17

Last year when dd1 was 3 she wanted a jar of mayonnaise for Christmas. It was so bizarre I wrote it down (same time as she wanted to invite my dh's rather horrible predecessor, who she had only met very briefly, to her birthday party....).

This year she wants a skate board and an inflatable blow-up slide.

RedLentil · 30/11/2009 14:23

Ferrets, small plastic Gods. This is exactly what I was hoping for.

Roxanne, ds wanted a star when he was three because he reasoned it would be easy for santy to pick one up on his way down from the sky.

He got these and was delighted.

DS is 8 but very young minded. He wants a Volcano and to be 10 apparently. I thught he meant Ben 10, but he just wants to be 10

unfitmummy · 01/12/2009 10:33

for the last two years my dd (who is now 4) has asked for a lolly and a cake from santa - easy! i'm sure it'll be different this year, will be doing her list this week.

LimburgseVlaai · 01/12/2009 10:41

DD1 (7yo) has written 'pistachio nuts'. I didn't even know she liked them!

Also a goo shooter and a super soaker 2000 - both of which only exist in Francesca Simon's imagination.
