Shopping for some new ones.

Are LED better?

Do the white ones give you headache after 5 minutes? Can't decide whether to go for white or yellow/gold ones.

Incredibly dull I know.

Depends where you want them for.

Tree?
Outdoors?
Bedroom?

Think LED ones are better, but keep them on constant mode. If you let them twinkle or do random stuff that's when they start to get headachey.

If you want opinions regarding colour, I think all one colour and if you've got a big tree, then you'll need about 3 sets of lights.

I've just bought new LED lights and after years of white lights I'm going coloured this year for a change.

I think the yellow/gold old fishioned kind are much nicer.

I would reahter eat left over turkey from 1972 1972 than have coloured lights on my tree.

yes we just want the one colour, couldn't decide between white or yellow. Think yellow will be warmer so will go with that.

Tree won't be massive so 2 sets should do it I reckon.
