Cheap Christmas Fizz - your recommendations please

I know Sainsbury have currently got a great offer on champagne (4 different champagnes for £14) but I was wondering what are your recommendations for super-cheap fizz - Prosecco, Cava etc? There's so much on special offer at the moment but I'm not sure what's actually nice & therefore the best value.

Tesco Brut Cava is lovely and is the cheapest nice fizz. If you can get yourself over to Calais it's even cheaper, about £2 a bottle

No one else? Really? Are you all teetotal or are you all bulk buying Moet?

Prosecco for me - have found it less yeasty, which can be a problem with champers and cava. Can get some very lovely stuff for around 6 quid. I got some great value Prosecco from Tescos recently, that was on special offer. Twas nearly half price...so bought twice as much!

I adore Prosecco but it's not as cheap as Cava. I bought a case of Prosecco in Calais yesterday - only about £4 a bottle

get a nice perry : stupidly cheap and fizzy drink made from pears. everyone's on the band wagon now that they're re-marketing it as pear cider and charging more. but if you can still find perry, then you're quids in.
it should be with sparkling white wines.

Crémant du loire is v nice or Mayerling Rosé Crémant d?Alsace

jacobs creek sparkling rose is nice,it has a nice fruity strawberry taste i think its around £8.

M and s cava

M&S sparkling Rose, can't mind what it's actually called though.

tesco cava is on offer 3 for £10 atm.

Thanks all! I ordered Asda Extra Special Prosecco in the end. 6 bottles for £25. It's won awards so hopefully it'll be OK.
